I was originally calling this game a car that burns rubber for 60 hours without ever actually peeling out, but oh my god, the comparison to a child excitedly explaining their fantasy world is absolutely fucking perfect.
The entire theme of the game is about making connections and healing divides in a post-apocalyptic world while you literally bring the devastated United "Cities" of America back online by fighting evil monsters that pollute, destroy, or turn everything into shit.
To nobody in particular: You can like something without invalidating someone else's opinion about it. You can dislike something while still acknowledging the value others see in it.
In my opinion, everything enjoyable about this series has nothing to do with the gameplay that takes up two thirds of the screen and the primary attention of whoever's holding the controller.
or switch to tropical freeze. dont even acknowledge it just start the next episode with it being tropical freeze.
I've been secretly waiting for this since day one.
"Okay, folks. We've finally implemented some new rules. First, you gain one spin for each puzzle piece you collect only if you make it to a checkpoint or complete the stage. Completing the stage is still worth one banana per Kong, but if you clear the stage with all four KONG letters, you get a free item from the shop. Sponsoring a Kong applies to all Kongs on the tag-team at the end of the stage.
Speaking of tag-teams... (infinite wrestling talk ensues)"
PSA: Shortcuts only apply to the items you activate on the shortcut. When you paste all of your current items, you're making an entire loadout. But if you took a blank shortcut and only chose a different sword, the shortcut would only swap the sword and none of your other items/shards.
