Each to their own.  There is a certain ingenuity to my tactics, it's no cake walk.
Warhawk and Rainbow Six Vegas probably provide the best opportunities.  Halo is pretty good too.
Come on! Deep down, everyone enjoys pissing other people off in online gaming :P

Ctrl is fine.

Used to hurt my pinkie when I was a kid so I developed a habit of twisting my keyboard so it is at an angle.

My parents never encouraged me to read anything I would enjoy so I never did.
At the age of 16, I read my first book and it was The Lord of the Rings and I loved it.  So much so that I read all three in the span of 4 days.
After that I thought "maybe I do like reading", so I bought a copy of War and Peace.... boy did that suck the fun out of reading for me.........  Haven't picked up a book since

Nothing beats going online and pretending to be a prepubescent teen, cursing to your heart's desire, and doing your best to piss people off in any manner just short of being kicked from the server.........
If you can annoy someone to the point where they TK you and you can kick them, you have reached Nirvana.

Hmm...... This is pretty lame...... It took this long to put in a d-pad that actually works?! And then make it that expensive!? And blandify the buttons!?
I am completely stupefied by how MS can take about four years to put in a d-pad that works, like we've had in every other console in existence. Then the price tag!?

This has brought up renewed feelings of rage that I though I had subdued when I returned my copy of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 after throwing my controller on the floor in frustration at my Xbox 360 d-pad not correctly registering directions.
Four Years!? :@

Purely out of anguish, I am not going to buy this pad and I'm going to keep getting any games that require use of the d-pad on my PS3.

@Laharl:  I have worn out two of my three original controllers.  I also wore out my sticks like you, but in a different way.  With mine, the pads just started ripping off the sticks.  I've learnt that it was because I tend to push the joystick all the way forwards and leave it there, rather than pushing it 80% forwards which is all that is needed.  Mine comes from hours upon hours spend on Pro Evolution Soccer 2008/9/10

You sound like you have a similar taste to me.  I know what you mean when you say you hate the constant bombardment of enemy waves.

You sound like you would love Rainbow Six Vegas:
1) Slower pacing: Definitely.  The enemy rooms are compartmentalised so you can take each area of the level at your leisure.

2) Exploration / Non-Linear: Definitely. Most rooms have multiple breach points and different ways of attempting to take them depending on what weapons you have at the time and how you like to deploy your team. There are also, in many cases, multiple routes.

3) Cover System / Stealth Component: This game has hands down the best cover system I have ever used, and that includes GeoW and Uncharted. Want Stealth? Just make sure you tool up with a weapon which can have a silencer equipped, then tell your team to use silenced weapons and you can mark out men for team mates, or yourself, snake cam in a room to get the layout, use thermal imagery, smoke grenades, satellite mapping, night-vision, etc.... I like doing entire levels tactically and silently.  Some people prefer machine gunning their way through.  The point is, you choose.

4) RPG Elements: You gain more and more weapons and armour and customisability of said armour for points which are gained by doing certain things, like headshots, grenades, blindfire, killing enemies behind cover, etc. (the list of things to get points from is huge). Your weapon loadout options are also massive.

Uncharted 2.

Got it today in the mail on my game rental service and have not been able to turn it off!
Have now just gotten half way through the 22nd Chapter.  Just checked and there are 26 in the game :P
I reckon, if they had not made the last terrible Indiana Jones film and just released this game as the "Young, but not so Young, Indiana Jones Chronicles" I would have been a lot happier in life than I am at the moment.

I use Xbox 360 for most games due to Xbox Live multiplayer being a much smoother experience.
I use my PS3 for PS3 exclusives because they are my favourite games.
I would just use my Wii for Mario Kart and ONLY that game, if it were working.
My gaming PC is best suited for top down and strategy games or steam games.
