The giant bomb app using the giant bomb api. And unless that is open and freely available, someone at giant bomb must have agreed to let a 3rd party make the app. I have been using it myself. I like it! I download all the videos I wanna watch (including premium stuff) on my iPad and watch the shit out of it all when I'm bored or have the free time.

One thing I'm not sure of is if using this app actually gives Giant Bomb any feedback in terms of metrics. Like view, downloads, etc
