@thechris:You are the bomb-diggity!

I just need to get I, Hope's content populated to the Giant Bomb page so that Twitch can use it to populate their info. If that sounds like something you still want to help with, I'll get you links and copy for everything. Bottom line, I want to get the page filled out with the basic info for the launch of the game.

Thanks in advance for the support, @thechris! Beyond greatly appreciated.

PS: Sorry for the lateness of my response but there have been so many moving parts these days in getting set up with the ESRB and with the Xbox team that my time has whittled down to a stump.

Afternoon, all! We've got an indie game that's releasing in two weeks called, I, Hope. We've been asked by Twitch to create a game page on Giant Bomb but we're new to Giant Bomb and this whole process. I've been pointed in this direction by one of the community mods to help us get some of the game info and screenshots filled in on the page.

Above is one of four videos we have to announce the game, but adding content to the page thus far has taken hours. If anyone is willing to aid us in getting the game page fleshed out, we'll take any and all support from the community we can get.

Thank you all in advance and forgive the desperation of my post in advance.

@nutter: No worries and I'd love to hear what you think of it as well when you finally get a chance to watch it.

@kingbonesaw: When I'm traveling, I swear by remote play on the newer LCD Vita. It's lighter than the OLED which means long grind-a-thons in games like FFXII don't destroy my wrists. At home and at work, it's all about the OLED and story games like Danganronpa and VLR. Thanks for sharing your experience and I'm worried that if I picked up a Switch, I'd be in the same spot. There's just too big a game backlog for me to pick up another console (an still remain married) at this point.

@justin258: I know, right? But I did pick up a newer LCD version when they initially dropped in price and stores were looking to liquidate them (about 3 years back). The OLED is my standard but I do like bringing the LCD one when I go to events so I don't worry about scratching the screen as much (or somehow losing my OLED one).

Upon watching the first trailer of the game, I couldn't believe how incredible the concept was. Daytime horror in a real-world scenario? Sign me up!

After hyping the game so much, my first play through with a friend (who had only played RE1) was a crushing disappointment. We laughed about most of the game as we played but then reality sunk in as I remembered how spent the last 6 months recommending this title to literally hundreds of people.

My gaming reputation was altered in March of 2009 which is why RE5 will always be a gut punch for me.

@thursday1977: I've worked to introduce my kids to more stylized games like Wind Waker, Okami, Odin's Sphere, and even Shadow of the Colossus but they ALWAYS gravitate towards mainstream titles like Minecraft and Call of Duty. Now, I completely understand as playing with friends is why I've been a life long gamer but what drives me bananas is when I say something like, "If you like playing Call of Duty, you should go back and play Call of Duty 4" and their response is, "why would I do that, these newer ones look so much better."

OMG, did I make them this way? By showing them graphically beautiful games, did I unknowingly turn them in to "graphics over gameplay" people?

Over the weekend I watched "I don't feel at home in this world anymore" featuring Melanie Lynskey and Elijah Wood. Enjoyed it so much that I watched it again last night which, with my time growing ever more finite these days, is some of the highest praise I can give.

If you have Netflix you can check it out here but the movie is about a nurse, Ruth, that is battling depression due to the lack of human indecency in the world. After being burglarized and having the police ignore her plight, she teams up with a neighbor, played by Elijah Wood, to exact vengeance. I won't spoil anything here but the film moves at a slower pace that pulls you in and then swiftly reveals some incredibly dark moments that kept me at the edge of my seat.

Definitely a Double Plus Good movie!

THIS is the list I've been looking for! Thank you so much for compiling and posting this, @blacklagoon. Still working on my fifth play-through of VA-11 HALL-A in-between remote play sessions of Okami, but it looks like there's definitely a few games to fill the void once I'm finished with these two.
