It plays more like the original Pro Skater games than I expected it to, so that's ok in my book. It's a little light on content, particularly on skaters, but that's ok because my avatar looks stupid as hell riding a skateboard so that's what I decided to use.

I don't know if this was in the original, but was career progress on a per-skater basis? on this one all of your objectives and stuff are reset if you switch skaters which is annoying as hell because it doesn't let me play around with stuff as much as I want to.

Nope. Still not working. Has anybody tried downloading the trial and then unlocking the main game from the main menu or something?

@CosmicBatman said:

The sanity effects in Eternal Darkness were probably the best part of that game.

Also, in FEZ when the game reboots and glitches it's pretty cool. Does that count?

Those Fez bits were fucking amazing. I went into Fez completely blind and it was the first thing I was playing on my first ever Xbox 360 that just happened to be preowned. I thought my system was dying or something. Really a fantastic moment.

Alright, good. As long as it is for everyone and not just for me. I just bought a new Xbox yesterday as my last one was stolen, so I thought there might be a problem with it or something. Cheers for the clarification.

Hey. I have 2100 points, more than enough to buy this, but I'm getting a generic error when I try to purchase it. I've tried buying it both from Xbox.com and from the console itself, but nothing seems to be working. Any idea on what this problem could be and how to fix it? I've been so unbelievably excited for this game for ages.

@Demoskinos: it sort of technically is a bit. they've gone to great lengths to make sure it plays identically to the old versions.

7 levels for $15 isn't so bad. also they've already confirmed DLC for $5. it seems a bit light on content but I love the old games so much that something like this for $15 is way better than something like Project 8/Ride/Shred whatever.

Make sure you have the appropriate shot selected, and that your playhead is inside that shot. Then, switch to time view and select an appropriate amount of time. If you hold ctrl, stuff should be selectable then.

So, I've actually been able to remove the payment information from the account via Xbox.com, which was super handy. I think that, combined with changed passwords for everything, should make me secure enough. Also, the police have got the serial number and will be able to tell if someone tries to sell it.

Also on an unrelated note, a weird thing happened. The car showed up on somebodies driveway with the keys posted through the letterbox of the house. Even weirder is that the person took some matches with him/her so I assumed s/he would take apart the car, sell the bits and burn the rest of it. Apparently not, I guess.
