I've been thinking about getting the requisite cables for connecting my PS3 to my imac. I want to save some room on my desk and it feels like a waste to have two monitors.

Is this a good idea? Does anyone know if the video comes out looking okay? Or would the process be a huge hassle?

That Super Hexagon video is CRAZY. I don't think that game is getting enough love.

I don't care about on-disc DLC. It's purely semantics. We get screwed in much worse ways.

Before beating Mass Effect 3, I sided with everyone calling the Mass Effect 3 detractors entitled whiners.

Now that I've finished the game myself, I can see that most game press people have it all wrong.

That Penny Arcade strip saying that we want the Reapers to be turned into ice cream is fucking stupid. But then again they've always had a pretty elitist attitude.

It's a stupid idea to campaign against Bioware for a new ending. Hopefully, we'll get some information about possible future Mass Effect games. I can't picture them dropping the franchise now.

And after reading up on the Indoctrination Theory, I can't explain the ending any other way.

I'm kind of turned off of this game just from the marketing push lately on gaming sites. That game designer making the podcast rounds is SO DAMN ANNOYING. Ugh, I had to switch off every podcast he guested on once his voice would hit that high pitched squeal.

What I would really like to see is a Book of Mormon game. Maybe a music game?

If it tells one relatively succinct story a la MGS3 I may play it.

If it's another MGS4 infodump clusterfuck, count me the fuck out.

I don't get what the hype is over this game.

It's another 3rd person shooter with the same ol same ol imagery. The story sounds like a comedy version of Dante's Inferno.

The only thing that seems to set it apart is the are the jokes.

For quirky Japanese games I'll go to Catherine, and for good jokes mixed with great gameplay I'll go to Portal.

It's pretty clear why this game failed and Catherine succeeded.

When I heard the premise of the game it sounded just like Dante's Inferno. Another journey through the underworld to save your girlfriend. All of the quirkiness sounds pretty superficial, unlike Catherine which had a very novel style of gameplay mixed with some light decision-making.
