Wow, they're screwing something up at the production level then, because they've had a huge team of dedicated cinematic animators, an EXTREMELY long development period, and basically unlimited financial resources from WoW.
 
I thought the cinematics were sort of underwhelming in general - we'd already seen so much of them before release, and the really new ones were pretty slow and uneventful.

This looks fascinating. I wonder if there will be branching character progression, randomization, or sweet loot - those are really the big draws in Diablo/Torchlight.
 
Still, even if this is a corridor-type affair, it's unique enough to be worth a spin.

Blizzard's balance changes seem really out-of-touch and sort of illogical. Battlecruisers are almost never used in high level play anyway, and they've always been easy to counter. Why nerf their damage?
 
Why take away the Ultralisk's ram? It was a neat animation, it was fun, and it had extremely little impact on the game.
 
The Zealot nerf concerns me, because this is all about proxy rushes, yet it's also hurting the unit in standard play.
 
The siege tank change is probably justified, and will balance out Terran a lot. It might be a little too much of a nerf, but we'll see. The Reaper nerf is very justified, but a smarter change would be to require an initial tech lab time investment to unlock them.
 
I love the dead unit vision change, though. That's going to improve the game tremendously, in subtle ways.

I was losing hope after so many delays, and that shitty time trial, but my faith is totally restored now. I cannot wait for this game.

The AI is a bit lame. I'm sure most Diamond players can handle Insane without trouble, but the free resources it gets forces you into an artificial and silly playstyle that doesn't translate  well to normal 1v1 games.
 
There's no deliberate direct correlation between AI and tier level, but don't get too worked up over Insane, it's not a good representation of a human opponent anyway.
