So this'd be a real-time online game--as opposed to doing an asynchronous message-board-type-deal? My gaming group has transitioned to the Dresden Files urban fantasy system at present (and at some point I pass the DM reins on to a player who's going to launch a superhero campaign) so I haven't cleaved anything in twain in a long-ass time. I'd be interested in playing (I haven't had the chance to play a character in DnD in even longer than it's been since I DM'd last), and if we have some folks new to PFRPG I could happily lend a hand from a tutoring perspective as well. So I'm definitely interested in seeing where this goes!

The organized play Pathfinder has does a great job of providing small-portion adventures, and I'm always impressed that they build in backstory for characters too. A bit of rules overhead but nice to have a party that can carry through a wide variety of high adventures.

I purchased this game immediately after it popped up on Steam, and solely because of the ridiculous irreverence shown in every second of its marketing and explanation. Is nice to have a black main character too, though.

Clocking time much of the day on Ultros as Durardi, in case someone can fire me off some invites.

Seems like Ultros is impossible to achieve (tried spamming refresh during the window when character creation on it -wasn't- blocked, but it was still full). Made a character on Fenrir (Stonestorm Pebcrown) so maybe I can end up hooking up with @spudbug's people. Still aiming to roll on Ultros when as the time becomes possible though.

Lot of it has to do with which characters are involved. Whom were you playing/fighting?

Swain versus Nunu in LoL, for instance, will usually end in Swain chipping away for several minutes (early game) whereas Nunu can get the kill easily. Your build in terms of items and so forth can also be a factor, but early game it's often down to just who each person is playing.

Additionally, early game in most MOBAs you're hopefully not sticking in a fight long enough to kill/be killed. DOTA seems to be more aggressive in this regard, and LoL has the four-man toplane ganks, but usually you're chipping until someone can come into your lane and provide an assist or you can get a combo off.

Also, Infinite Crisis's 5 control-point map evokes LoL's Dominion matches, which mean death happens faster and more easily than in a traditional tri-lane game. That's balanced by it mattering FAR less than in those games.

One thing that might help with accepting invites (especially as interest in Warframe likely surges due to the recent Twitter exchange and the heightened interest in that medium due the tragedy) would be to update the OP (and even make a new thread) explaining HOW you go about seeing/taking the invite.

I thought I was in the dojo already, due to the boss on Mercury calling me out as a member of GBHI; wasn't til I read one of these most recent posts that I thought to dig deep in the social panel and realize I hadn't accepted the invitation yet, because I didn't KNOW an invitation existed.

They aren't locked on your character (unless it changed), they're locked TO a character.

Difference being that you can trade them between characters, which is a value add.
