If we're talking about ending relationships such as friendships, then yes I've had to end a lot of them. My dad's in the air force so we moved several times; many times being over seas and we now live in the states. I tried a few times to keep in contact with some people I met over seas, but it never worked out. Now that I'm in the states and in college though, I've found it easier to maintain friendships with people I met here in the states. Some of the best friends I have ended up going to school across the country, but we still get together when we are back in town for holidays and such. Hell my best friend spends a lot of time on boats, he's in the merchant marine academy, and I still keep in contact with him even when he's over in Europe and other countries. The main contributor to communication though has to be my cell phone. I once thought it was ridiculous, but then I discovered the convenience of texting. Facebook has also been somewhat helpful, I don't keep up with it too much.
As for dating relationships then no, I was too busy with video games, school, and football in high school and I'm too lazy/not confident enough now to get into a relationship >.>
I used to play football back in highschool, so if it's playing it in real life then yes I'm ready. If you mean watching it on tv or playing madden then I'll pass. The only way you can get me to play a football video is if I can get a few friends over to play against me, that or a lot of beer would do it too.
"Back in the day, I used to watch Captain Tsubasa, Speed Racer and G-Force. Never knew that the last 2 were Japanese until I was 18. I dont see whats the problem with some dudes and anime. I would bet my hairy butt that those same guys go later to watch one of the crappy reality shows on TV, or girly stuff as OC, etc. "
I'm in the same boat about not knowing that speed racer was Japanese for a long time. I also agree with you that I can't see a reason for anyone to really dislike anime. It's like any other media, it covers a huge amount of topics/demographics so there has to be at least one series for everyone. If you can't find at least one then you're just being too picky.
Lets see: 1) The all seeing Star Craft computer AI. Yay for 10-15 zelot rush in the first five minutes >.> 2) The ending of Dead Space. I saw it coming from a mile away but hoped it wouldn't, but it did and I was ticked. 3)Star Craft 2 being split up into 3 games 4)Pretty much any encounter with the police/guards in Mirrors Edge 5)Any boss fight in a RPG that you are susposed to lose and the boss waits a while before it one hit kills everything 6) Ninja Gaiden man that game is rediculous
In all honesty if every game were to be "intelligent" games, they wouldn't sell very well. I do like to play games like portal every once in a while, but I tend to play more mind numbing games because I don't have to think. When I play games I want to relax and just enjoy the ride while not having to think very hard.
I get on a few times a day to see whats updated. Now I use the forums to keep me entertained for a bit at work when it gets slow... which is pretty much all the time.
" What are the chances they will be able to give me a copy of the game? I have the reciept, and have taken the security sticker off the side of the box. "
I don't know if they'll help you out much since you waited two weeks. I'd give it a shot, but they may say "prove that there was no discs in the box".
