" I had no idea that saying chevo would stir up such strong emotions. I shall always say achievement from now on. (The reason I shorten it is because I have zero confidence in my spelling ability) "
If I get it, I'll probably get the normal edition. I'm kinda considering the Hardened edition, but I'll have to wait and see if it's worth the extra $20. The Prestige edition is out of the question. No way in hell I'm gonna pay that much for a game and a cheap pair of NVGs.
I'd go through Assasins Creed at least. I had the same problem as you, I got distracted from it, but was able to pick it up again and finish it all the way through. My only complaint about the game is that it is a little repetitive.
For me: 1) Know what games I must buy when it first comes out and go to store and buy them. 2) If not a must buy, wait till it goes down to 20 or 30 bucks then go buy them.
I rarely buy games full price anymore, only my must have titles. I usually bide my time to wait for good deals, I got Soul Calibur IV and Lost Planet for $10 each at bestbuy a few months ago.
I've grown up with dogs all my life so I'm for dogs. My two favorite breeds have to be Boxers and Black Labs, my grandparents had several boxers and they were all great dogs. My family currently has a gigantic pug and a runt black lab. I do like cats, I just never want to own one.
" Cool! Next time you want to answer the question of the day/week (whatever it is), click on the 'answer now' button to the right of the question. You'll be prompted to make a blog post with the question rather than a forum post. Edit: I see this is already a blog post, all the same make sure you click "Answer Now" instead of doing up your own blog. My apologies for jumping the gun. "
When I think about it the first FF I played was IV back when it was FFII on the SNES. I also played FFVI (FFIII back then), but didn't get into the series until FFVII. FFVII played a crucial role in my video game tastes today, I play a lot of RPGS now such as Suikoden and SMT. I say FFVII is my favorite for that reason, I do not think it's the best one in the series though. Fundamentally I think FFVIII, FFVI, FFIV, and FFTactics are better.
It depends on the game really. If it's a game that concentrates more on the multiplayer play, games like COD4/Halo/Fat Princess, then I go with multiplayer first. If it's a game that has a robust single player experience but a limited multiplayer, I play the single player first. I generally play by myself for a bit though to get a feel for the game before I try to compete online.
