As soon as I read your list I knew you've made a terrible mistake. Amped 3 is and always will be amazing; granted, the actual gameplay is meh, but everything else is absolutely mindblowing. I hope you don't consider it of equal quality to crap like Alone in the Dark or Kayne & Lynch. If you haven't seen it already, here's Giant Bomb's amazing quick look of it (warning: they mostly just watch the cutscenes [the best parts], so if you're actually going to play it you might want to save this for later).

No definitely not, Amped 3 was amazing. As I said in some of the other posts that was one of the good games that snuck in there as well. I played through it a few months ago

Always connected would kill me with the next gen XBox. I travel for my job and like to bring my 360 with me, but many times the hotels I stay at have either no wifi or awkwardly implented passwords on their wifi that don't play well with the 360, and I wind up playing my 360 offline for months at a time.

So..I went and added to my bad games collection today. I tried to even things out a bit by buying an actual good game in Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, but I also picked up:

Stuntman Ignition

NFL Head Coach 09

Legendary

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty

and perhaps the new crown jewel of my bad games collection.........Sonic the Hedgehog 06! It'll take alot to surpass Jumper Griffin's Story, but I think this game might just have what it takes.

Also, since this thread was posted way back when, I have also added Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, Viking: Battle for Asgard, Lair, Stormrise, Naughty Bear, and Dark Void to the fold.

Yeah Crackdown is definitely a good game, especially if you break it playing multiplayer. It's just on the list cause it was with the rest of the pile of $5 or less games I bought during that week of stupidity.

@Zekhariah: I'm not THAT committed to bad gaming that I'd buy, touch or even look at a Kinect. I mean, I've gotta have have some kind of standards, let's not get crazy here.

@SethPhotopoulos: I have no problem stopping when I'm not having fun anymore. I've already wasted my money, why waste my time as well?

(especially easy when it was like a $3 steam sale game)

I actually really enjoyed Alpha Protocol....until I got to some escort mission where the guy I was escorting would constantly run right into 5 guys shooting at him and die instantly. After about 5 times straight of that happening I never even looked at that game on my Steam list again.

@BlatantNinja23: Now that I've had time to play (most) of them, Amped 3 and Crackdown are definitely the best of the bunch, and while I know that Pure is a technically good game, it's just not for me. But the biggest surprise so far has been how not-completely-shitty Quantum of Solace is.

Edit: Also I see a bunch of other people seem to like Stranglehold, but after 2 levels of that game, I never want to touch it again. I grew tired of it's one and only mechanic less than halfway through the first level. Does anything happen in this game to shake it up at all?
