@bradbrains: This is exactly what I wanted to say. Why get upset? Thank God the news isn't boring and monotone. If someone doesn't agree with his opinion, well, that's just how the world works. I think we can expect a lot more of this from Austin, and I think it's great.

This is a no thanks for me. From the videos I've watched the tone is so laughably angsty teenager it could be parody, but it's not. The developers seem like a group of adults with the same level of maturity as a 16 year old me listening to Slipknot and thinking I was "hardcore" and "deep". Now as an adult is just seems embarrassing.

That said I can admit the black and white ascetic with the flashes of color does look nice.

I'm no Tales expert, as I only recently finished my first game in the series, Tales of the Abyss 3D. I can whole-heartedly recommend it. The world is sprawling with tons to do and explore. The story is very jargon heavy (what the hell is a phonon? gah they keep saying it!), and the main character starts out as insufferable, but he has a great arc and the story gets better and better. By the end I was completely invested in the characters and story and couldn't wait to see how it would end. Plus that active battle system keeps random encounters fun.

I'm really looking forward to branching out to other games in the series. Picked up Symphonia and Xillia but haven't started them yet. Anyway, hope that helps.

So wouldn't it be fairly easy to get everything to the soft cap in NG? Then what would you level in NG+? If you're not leveling what do you do with your echoes?

Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking I'll go along the lines of what DonChipolte (great name) said. Commit to skill and for a while and see how it goes. Anyone know where NG+ caps? I thought that in Dark Souls 2 it was 7 or so.

I've been having a lot of trouble deciding between strength or skill. I really like the Threaded Cane, but the Kirkhammer just seems so cool. What stats have you been focusing on?

I'll definitely jump on the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt train. I'm about halfway through the season and it's fantastic! Ellie Kemper is a delight and Tina Fey is God Teir as always. Watch it!
