It's been said and I'll say it again: no Paul = sad face.

Nevertheless, good luck guys. Looking forward to all the great coverage. And don't forget to have some fun.

Same here. My wife has pornstar-size breasts and it's great. I don't mind seeing the equivalent in a game, especially if it's a game I'm going to spent hours playing.

I guess Varric has a taste for generous bosom. Seems fitting for a dwarf if you ask me!

"how many people play magic nowadays? "

Quite a few actually. The game has been doing very well for itself over the last few years. The tournament scene is especially hot.

Honestly, this isn't the annoucement I was hoping for. I liked DotP enough, but I was definitely hoping for some news on the MtG Online client instead. Oh well...

I'm not sure I'm looking forward to buying a second DotP. I would be perfectly satisfied with a major update of the first one, with new options and features. From what has been shown, it's pretty much the same basic system and layout, I don't know why they couldn't install everything this version has to offer over the old one.

To shell out the $$ for a new one I would definitely need more than new cards or Archenemy. I always though that a Puzzle Quest-like system would have worked nicely with this.

Words of wisdom indeed. Because believe me, as you get older, hangovers becomes harder and harder.

Great post LiquidPrince and much appreciated. ::Thumbs Up::

If I may add something:
Most gaming websites out there rely on staff-generated content. Not so with Giant Bomb. Here, a lot of the content is user-generated: from the wiki-like database to the individual profiles. As such, the forums and blogs are all the more important to the mechanics of the website itself. If users cannot learn to show respect and open-mindedness toward their fellow users comments and opinions, then the raison d'être of the 'Bomb itself becomes questionable. And I'm pretty damn sure that no one working on this website, from the conscientious users, to the moderators, to the administrators wants that.

This place is about something else than the other gaming websites around: a place where the users can partake to the going ons and the happenings, not just stand around idly for so-called fresh new content to be thrown in their faces. And that's a good thing. So let's try to preserve it.

MB, it's the internet."
No, this is Life... of which the oh-so-precious internet is just a small part of. MB's right. I really don't know when the internet became an excuse for people to act like complete d-bags.

To echo some other thread, what Giant Bomb really needs is for the administrators to give the moderators the green light to do some spring cleaning and kick all the disrespectful, foul-mouthed and agressive jerks who have made this place their turf.

Ah Hell... I don't know why I even bother...

That's an interesting bit of info Redrun. Thanks.

Yah, I can see the irony in that. Then again, it wouldn't really make sense for Capcom to borrow game mechanics from competing franchises. At least for the Street Fighter serie, they have always been known as being innovative. In a way, they have that reputation to uphold.

A very simple question really, but I was wondering if there should be more to personal actions than just an on-screen taunt. Maybe drain some of the EX bar for example?

What do you think?

"
Try unlocking the "No Sweat" achievement first. That is proof that you have all the personal actions before you ask for more. There are ten for each character, that is a total of 250 personal actions in the game. Is that enough for you?"

Yes, I'm aware of the 'No Sweat' achievement. My point however wasn't that I wanted more personal actions, but that I wanted to know if people would have liked to see more to personal actions: some extra, tangible effect or feature to there taunts.

That being said, it's interesting to hear of people who used personal actions in-game and were actually able to taunt the other player.

Thanks for the heads-up Brad. Like many I was disappointed with the original and would have liked it to be... well, better. So if they're aiming for a more mature, more intense story and a more evolved game design... I'm pretty sure something nice can come out of this one.
