Hate Epic? Errr... no. Not really. Considering that Gears of War is one of my favorite modern serie and that many of the games I enjoy playing use the Unreal Engine (or a modified version of it), I'm pretty fond of Epic Games. They're not perfect, they make some bad decisions, but then again, nobody is and everybody does.

The problem here is that unless these new characters are already done and hidden on the disk (which is doubtful), Capcom will have to make them available through a free and mandatory title update. Otherwise it would be matchmaking hell when someone tries to use one of the new characters but the other player doesn't have access to them.

Considering that the game on console isn't even a month old, I don't see that happening any time soon. Eventually perhaps, but not for a bit. Capcom still has plenty of money to make just selling the game and some extra costumes. After that we're likely to see a mandatory patch with a few new modes, followed by a free new stage and then a DLC or two with still more new stages. Then, perhaps... in a year or so... or just before next Christmas perhaps, a free new character. Maybe...

Even though I sold my Wii a while ago, there's still a few games on it that I enjoy quite a bit. My list is pretty much the same as most people: SSB Brawl and Twilight Princess are my favorites however.

For some reason I couldn't get into Mario Galaxy. It's a good game, but I just didn't have much fun playing it. Maybe I just overdosed on fat mustached plumbers at some point.

Hum... 600-something. I don't have time to practice as much as i'd like so when I play I usually end up losing 300 points and then winning back 300 point. So much for progression!

One more for Too Human. Even though it got some pretty dismal reviews, I had fun playing that game and will most likely get back to it for a second playthrough and a few more achievements. Yes the controls are somewhat awkward and the camera can be a pain, but... yah, some fun times with that game.

Pretty much the same thing here. I used to be very good at Street Fighter II, a competition level player. But then real life caught up with me, I got older and stopped gaming. These days I'm an enthusiastic but average player at best. With a family and a full time job, I just don't have time to train, like so many of the kids out there.

How good? That's hard to say. I used to play a lot of Street Fighter II: literally hundred of hours. The only game I ever played competitively, at a time when there was no real online gaming. I hadn't touched the game in a decade when I got my hands on Street Fighter IV a couple of weeks ago and I find myself really rusty. I can pull most moves without too much problems, but I really lost my timing with the combos. And I hate the X360 controllers, I feel like I won't be able to really get back into it until I can get my hands on a decent pad or stick... something very hard to find in Canada apparently. Meh.

I'll have to settle for N+ too. There are other, older games out there which I found very frustrating, but N+ is my new cuss factory. I -want- to like it, I really do and I must say I had some fairly enjoyable moments playing co-op with my wife, but the difficulty progression is just too out of whack. You're okay for a while and then BAM! You hit one you just can't complete in any reasonable amount of time and you just spend hours spread over weeks trying to complete it. Ugh!

Hehe. That made my day. Especially if he says it when bashing on his colleagues, with that big, deep voice of his. BrrrRRAAAAADD!
