"Well, it seems like it's now official: Square Enix should acquire Eidos in May. The formal statement can be found here.

Now this is all business and it's not a bad move by Square considering that they have been trying to break into the American and European market for some time now. That being said, I'm curious to see what kind of impact this will have on Eidos's properties, mainly Tomb Raider. That franchise has been stalling for some time now, and even a big Lara Croft fan like me can't but admit it. Hopefully, we'll get some comments from Square and/or Eidos soon.

Yes. Though, it's the fact that the muscles look like bulky man legs thus ruining her sexy spy persona. You know, I was discussing this with a few people on my friends list earlier while playing SFIV and they pretty much all agreed. I kind of expected the same thing here, but I guess not. Really, am I the only one who has a problem with the game's art direction."

I don't think you're the only one who doesn't like the art direction. I have my own issues with it too. I'm not a big fan of El Fuerte for example, or at least of him being some sort of fighting cook (even though this as more to do with character design than art direction, anyway...). But as far as the girls in SFIV are concerned, I like most of them. I always appreciated how they portrayed Cammy as being an athletic woman, and even more so now where she's showing some definite muscles. Then again, I'm biased: I'm a certified personal trainer and my own wife is a fitness girl. I like athletic woman, and so I really like the new Cammy.

In the end though, art direction will never please everyone and there's not much users and players can do about it. As always, respecting other people's likes and dislikes is really the only option here.

It's probably going to be SFIV, considering that I spent literally hundred of hours playing Street Fighter II in my younger days. "Daily" however, is probably not going to happen.

Looks interesting. Puzzle Quest is definitely my favorite on that list.

::Sigh:: Yet countless hours of my life spent shuffling colored gems around. My wife is going to kill me... :)

"This has had shady written all over it from Day One, Thomas pulling $30 million after paying $100k for the debt, and then filing for Chap 11?  So shady, this just seems blatant in it's attempt to screw the companies who Midway owes money to by filling Thomas' pockets in the process."
Not much to add. There's definitely some shady business going on here... that, or someone, somewhere, has been very very stupid.

...possibly both.

Too true. Personally I found it much easier to be a gamer when I was a kid. I could go to school and spend the rest of my time gaming. Now... well I consider myself lucky if I can play a few hours a week. At least the wife is a bit a gamer too.

Hopefully Morex, job and legal crap will quiet down a bit for a you and you'll be able to start gaming again. God knows it's good for the soul. :)
