I'm disappointed but it's not the end of the world for me. I have an Epic account and I've been picking up their free games. I just dislike the fact that we're having a proxy console war on PC. It already happened with EA and other publishers, but Epic has been making a big play of picking up third party timed exclusives for their store. I'm glad someone is challenging Steam's dominance, but I wish there was a less cut-throat way to go about it.

It's a bit... spaced out. Like I get wanting to use as much space as possible, but everything feels kind of stretched. There seem to be some pointless boxes in some locations, and the site seems to have been redesigned with the point of making it seem like almost entirely a video content site. And yes, video content is by far the most important part of Giant Bomb, but it's not the only part.

I don't have a current-gen console (just a PS3) so I'm definitely waiting. I was always disappointed that RDR1 never got to PC, but I currently do anticipate that RDR2 will get a PC version. I expect it will arrive this time next year. The main reason for this is that GTA V Online on PC has made millions for Rockstar and Take-Two and continues to rake in money, and it's unlikely Rockstar or Take-Two won't want to tap that well again with RDR Online. But considering how much money Rockstar has these days, their insistence to treat the PC like a second-class platform continues to be infuriating.

I've played some RDR1 on PS3 and while I can definitely see what a great game it is, my background thought every time I play it is "this would be much more comfortable and look better on a PC". After growing up playing almost exclusively PC games, playing action-adventure games on consoles still feels a bit unnatural to me.

I never played it but this seems pretty bad; it only launched in 2016. Unless nobody is playing it, which could well be the case. I expect there has been a similar cliff-edge to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

It's very good. I enjoyed the atmosphere, story, characters and environments. I found the gameplay a bit irritating, but I think that's mainly due to how the Typhon "don't play fair" and can warp around. Also, you can't play Prey like a straight-up shooter, especially in the beginning when ammo is very scarce. I don't think I learned that until half way through the game. There's also slightly too much backtracking in the final bit of the game but that exterior level where you can fly around the station to quickly get between areas is great.

I'd be really interested in seeing a Prey 2, but given I understand the game didn't sell very well, we might be waiting a while. But overall Prey is a great "System Shock 3".

Spam is decent. It's better than I expected it to be, but it's not my favourite canned meat. I think corned beef is generally better and ahead of that, tinned cured pork tastes the best and is delicious in toasted sandwiches with cheese.

I also like the Monty Python sketch.

There seems to be some confusion between On-Line Systems, the original name of Sierra Entertainment, and Sierra, which is what the company later became. They are/were functionally the same company and all of the games currently associated to On-Line Systems are Sierra titles.

On-Line Systems
Sierra

Request to merge On-Line Systems into Sierra.

Sounds really interesting but the question is will he get funding to actually finish it, unlike D4. I would be tempted to fund it if it were offered, despite SWERY's inconsistent development history.

I fully expect Nintendo are going to do exactly the same as the did for the NES Classic, because they're NINTENDO. So they won't make enough and they'll be impossible to find in stores and they'll be discontinued in the new year. I expect nothing less, but I will be happily proved wrong. I won't be though, because it's Nintendo.
