if its just a new and improved COD4. then no, this aint no instant classic like Uncharted 2 is.  
 
but if its inredibly unique and memorable, and highly highly HIGHLY polished like Uncharted 2 or MGS4 then yes. i can totally see that.  
but like i said, COD4 is no where near that type of level. its still one of my all time favorite game, but thats because of the online. 

Having expectations this high can only lead to disappointment.  I'm personally excited for the game, but let's wait until it's out before we start calling it the best game of the decade.

The original Call of Duty came out this decade so yeah, don't think so. It blows CoD4 out of the water and had some of the most fun multiplayer in its prime.

SInce "Game of the Decade", or the "Game of.." anything really, has a great deal of personal opinion involved, this is a question that will never be answered. It will certainly be one of the top 5 in sales of the decade, but anything beyond that will never be unanimous.

Game of this generation of this decade. It's the Kanye West of videogames.

Game of the decade is maybe a bit too much, that title would have to go with Half Life 2 for me, but this is going to be one hell of a game.

Might be game of the decade in that it'll be the most polished shooter experience of the decade, but it also won't be the most influential. COD4 was more, Guitar Hero was more, Gears of War was more, etc.

I'm sure it'll be a great game, but i'm sure it'll just be Hype of the Decade.

Sales don't mean anything when it comes to quality. I mean, Halo was boring as shit yet it sold like hot cakes. Its about marketing, not gameplay.  I'm pretty impartial about this game. The first was pretty good. Might get it pre-owned next year. "
