@vinny Inspectors the worst. I live in south Louisiana and got 3 feet of water in my house.

Before hanging drywall i had to get a moisture test for the city to show my studs and sole plates were dry enough to not mold. I got it done by a third party and let the city know i had it done.

They called me for the electrical and moisture test. I told them again i already had the moisture done, but they needed to do the electrical. He said "ok well ill just do a final electrical test" (when the walls are closed up and everything is done, instead of checking the wiring.)

So i said sure thing and i started closing up my walls. They called me again to schedule a moisture inspection. I told them again about every conversation we already had and he said "oh ok, well just make sure you change the wax rings on your toilets." Cause thats related to electrical somehow...?

Then last weekend while i was finishing the sheet rock the dude SHOWS UP and says "hey im here for your moisture test!"

tl;dr Baton Rouge flooding sucks, hanging drywall sucks, city inspectors suck.
