Grammatizator. (Rise Against)

Rise Against released a new vinyl through Fat Wreck Chords not too long ago with two brand new songs.

(note: not for those who hate hardcore)

  

Sounds like they are trying to make up for the disaster that was Appeal to Reason, now the only thing they need to do to make me happy is to sign back up with fat and release a new record with more of their older style material.

though that will probably never happen.

I had totally missed this. Thanks for posting. I'm gonna have to go dig out all my old hardcore records.

For some reason it totally made me wanna listen to Black Flag.

Yeah same here, has a certain Black Flag quality to it that i cant quite put my finger on.

Everything Rise Against does has a certain Black Flag quality to it.

Appeal to Reason was just mainstream and done to get others into them. Bands always change their tune a little bit, they get new influences or just need to try something different. Sometimes they stick with, sometimes they don't.

Seeing them with Rancid in July.

I don't think appeal to reason was that bad, i actually thought the sufferer and the witness was my least favorite. but i like this new music. and yes, they should go back with fat. i hope they play this in buffalo this thursday :D
