I went bald at the ripe old age of 17. Not fully, mind you. Just a bit. By 23 it was incredibly noticeable. I decided that hair was hair and it ultimately didn't matter. Since it first start I've just shaved my head. It get's annoying and sometimes I forget, to be honest. My wife actually likes it when I do. She claims I look more distinguished. I think I just look like an old man. In some way, I'm super excited for my 30's. I feel like I can finally not give a damn about whether or not my hair is receding. The whole consideration is absolutely absurd, of course. Although it is interesting to see how age norms have shaped my thinking on this subject.

I used to be a full time college student and a cyclist. When I wasn't in class or studying, I was either jogging or cycling/training. This sort of routine really isolates a person and after a handful of years I found it impossible to have a lot of good social interaction. I was either too exhausted or too busy to have a booming social life. This created a lot of anxiety in me whenever I'd actually engage with others. So I decided to try OKCupid to find a relationship. It took me a good three years of casual, off-and-on dating on OKCupid, but I eventually started dating a woman who basically had my exact schedule (She was a medical resident at the time). As it turns out, all of her friends were in the same boat. As well as most of my friends.

We've been married now for a year and are expecting out first kiddo in September. Most of our friends have met their husbands/wives either directly through work or through online sites like OKCupid. Honestly, it just makes life easier. I could be absolutely honest on the profile I had and knew that if people were not interested, they'd pass on by quietly. The only time I ever had any problems was when people were not being honest about who they were or what they wanted.

Don't be worried about what you believe you've missed out on in life, though. It's gone. It's in the past. Ignore it and move on. I spent most of my early twenties on a bike. I don't regret a second of it, but I have to also acknowledge that I have missed out on quite a bit of life. Well, now that I live a much different life I can delve into what I might have missed. I guess what I am trying to say is don't get caught up in what you didn't have. Focus on what you want and fight for it.

So I just started playing Darkest Dungeon and I found myself putting the plague doctor on the far left and the... err, paladin healer lady (?) just to his right. With the Crusader I've gotten the trait where I pretty much suck for the first round (at least, I think that's what it means). I've gotten a similar one with my brigand (?) fellow. I l know this is my first group and I'll go through dozens of people, so it doesn't really matter too much. However, I found myself, just in order to survive, using the first round to buff my group as much as I can.

I'm curious if extensive buffing in the long term is a good route or if I should pull a Jeff and ignore them? Thanks for any advice guys. Really loving this game so far.

My favorite class in the Dragon Age universe was Arcane Warrior from DA:O. When I heard that they didn't include it in Inquisition I was so incredibly disappointed. Alas, I prefer mages so I picked it and bam, KNIGHT ENCHANTER!

...except, not really. No heavy armor, no fancy spells, no unique qualities. Just a melee mage. It feels so empty. I eventually finished the game with him and found that I didn't need to use any strategy. All I ever did was mash X and by the end I just wanted it all to end. And with that said, I am so incredibly thankful BioWare made Vivienne a KE. Thanks to her, my warrior and rogue characters can take down dragons with very little effort. Then again, that is strangely depressing. Whenever I find myself putting her in my party, I immediately know its so the rest of my party can die and she can go all magic-sword on them.

I wish they would have made it a little more tank-ish and require a bit more effort on the players part, but truthfully the whole mage class feels very thin and empty. The spells are so boring. Truthfully, only necro seemed to have some character. Still, KE is fun and doesn't require much thought.

As soon as I killed a dragon and Iron Bull freaked out (in a good sort of hey lets go party way) I kind of fell for the big guy. Something about him is so freeing. Yes, he is simple, but he defies stereotypes and is a very pure, honest character. Sera, however, got on my last nerve just about immediately. I absolutely loved her voice actress, but she was such a pain in the ass that I couldn't stand her. I was so happy to replace her with Cole - who I originally thought I would hate.

Somebody in this thread mentioned Blackwall and I have to agree fully. Blackwall's story, as a whole, is so incredibly interesting that I'd love some sort of DLC which explores it a bit more, kind of like what they did with Leliana in DA:O. I'm probably the only one who feels that way, though. Still, he was a fully fleshed out character with a lot of deep, but ultimately hidden qualities. In a way, he reminded me of the character I wanted so desperately to create in Origins, but never could.

I'm 26 years old and I'm a psychology major. Moreover, I've been seeing a therapist for a four YEARS now. I did it in the beginning as a way to overcome my overeating and social anxiety. After four years I'm 117 kg lighter and relatively anxiety free, with exception to the ordinary, otherwise healthy anxieties we all must suffer.

I still go to therapy, however. I only go once every few months, though. I see it as no different than going to the dentist, but with a lot less discomfort.

It is probably one of the greatest decisions I've made in my life. I think if a lot more people were open-minded about psychology as a whole, we'd have a lot fewer tragedies. So congratulations! You're awesome for realizing you may benefit from this. May, of course, is the keyword. You may also find it to be a complete waste of your time. Nevertheless, you're willing to try it and that's better than a good chunk of our population.

I don't want politics in my games, unless it is a specifically political game. That being said, they didn't make the game specifically for me, so I have no right to demand they not write a story that bothers me. Still, the whole Communism/Capitalism thing is annoying. I always find it hilarious when a person or a business (especially a business) that is supported and popularized by a type of system then goes out of their way to insult it.

Remember: there is no such thing as a true communistic business owner.

In regards to the ending... meh. It was good, but I was hoping it would be a tad bit more eventful. Sure, Lucy get's shanked, but I was kind of hoping she would reveal herself to be a Templar. As the credits rolled (and after the corresponding sound bites made me gasp in giddy delight) I remember thinking that the Assassin's had to be in some part the bad guys. Are the Templars good? Obviously not since their history seems to be covered in blood, but the fact their enemies are the assassin's do not necessarily make the assassin's good folk.

I honestly didn't even know it was Sam Worthington until somebody said something and then began to immediately hate the voice acting. I think that makes me biased. Oh well, I'll survive.
