I don't know enough about graphics and how consoles/computers work to be able to have a reference point in my mind when I read about the PS4's specs and PC specs. For one of you duders who loves all that stuff, is/are there games that are currently on PC that will be around the level of what it is expected the PS4 would perform like? If so I hope GB has quicklooks of those games so I can get an idea of what I'll be playing with in the future!

To me this game looks fantastic! But I acknowledge that I have a huge case of nostalgia. The first games that I absolutely loved and played to death were Lego Island, and later The Simpsons Hit and Run. This game seems like someone had both on a shelf somewhere, looked at them and went "hang on......this might just work"

I thought it was so so so clever. Because they managed to announce a console while keeping the mystery.

We could have woken up this morning saying "well that was playstation, your ball Microsoft" but we haven't. Sure there is the question of Microsoft's next move but the Playstation 4 is still a source of mystery. What does it look like?! What noise does it make when you boot it on? Does it sound like a jet engine again?!! They managed to announce a console and get us hyped about the stuff inside it (well vicariously through brad at least) without removing any of the pre-console hype about what the hell this thing is!

They also focussed on games. This was so so clever the more I think about it. The GB crew kept saying "Its like E3" and that stuck with me. What Sony did was make the entire conference about what we love, and thats games. The console is utterly useless without games and as exciting as it is to hear about a new one its what I can play on it that gets me hyped. Even the new functions of the PS4 were about games, There was no long sing and dance about facebook, or arbitrary console function. The main functions that were released like the ability to share were functions that they think we supplement the gaming. Do I want to post on my friends wall "I played Far Cry 3 and you should aswell?" no...but do I want to post a video of me running a tiger over with a quad bike?! ....yes, yes I do.

It was basically Sony saying "here, this is what you love....what to know more?! wait." Instead of handing the baton to microsoft they turned a thousand spotlights onto themselves.

I am completely against sexism, and whilst I understand that such a statue is exploitative, cheap and to a certain extent nothing but crass. I fail to understand why a bloody statue of bikini woman is sexist per se.

If it was a male torso it wouldn't be heralded as sexist. What we are talking about, and the impression I've got from reactions, is that people are angry at the objectification of women in video games. If Dead Island was about all those stupid women who cant defend themselves that is certainly sexist, but I would'nt say the statue evokes that, this statue plays off what sells, sex and violence. In this case in one handy package.

In my opinion sexism is not the issue, its exploitation and objectification of women.

Personally I don't think age matters, what I think brings down a site more than anything else is when people's opinions are undervalued for some arbitrary reason. Be that their age or any other factor. And at any rate, if a 14 yr old is acting childish, and doesn't understand the "real world"....good. I'd much rather see a 14 year old whose world revolves around Minecraft than a 14 year old who has gone through so much shit that they have forgotten what it means to only care about dinner, games and girls.

You could look into working for social services or as a guardian for CAFCAS. Its horrible work but desperately needs people who are committed and willing to work hard.

Does sound that way right, but a PC is not on the cards for me. I'd want a really good one and don't have enough money/know how. I much prefer the plug and play console.
