I know this game isn't for everyone, and South Park seems to wear on people after a while but I still dig the underlying commentary (sometimes not so subtle) that they shoot for and hit. The guys seemed really bummed in general during this section but I'm still looking forward to this - glad to see they're not just doing a reskin too, looks like new mechanics in combat and whatnot.
I missed out on GOW being an Xbox-only buyer last gen. This was a great trailer and opening, definitel looking forward to it. I hope it's not just angry viking dude beating the shit out of everything, but I think the play of having the child in there could make him a bit more human. Anyway, looks cool and while I do hope they didn't just rip off the mechanics of Dark Souls like the guys were kind of hinting at during the play, I'll still be in on this one for sure. THE DUDE HAD LAVA BLOOD.
been looking forward to this since the crowdfunding - looks super interesting and creepy. It definitely plays different than what I think most people are expecting though, so I'd caution to look for the streams/archives of past plays of this one just to make sure you know what it is.

This looked great but my biggest concern with these kinds of games is the fact that I don't have 10 people to reliably play with, and I'm getting more short-burst time with games than I am full on sea battles. I didn't get to watch the entire video but I feel like this is one of those games that takes up a night, and I just can't dedicate that any more. Cool for those that have those groups and time though.

@irishranger: just the slimmed redesign - I could be wrong but they didn't mention anything about big upgrades in here except 4K video which Jeff commented makes this the cheapest 4K player on the market (not sure if that's all accurate) It is hella sexy though, as I recall how much space the current Xbox takes up on my shelf I want it, but definitely don't need it. $299 is a great price point too
At first I thought it was a little too 12 year old me "awesome stuff" but I can't deny that big robots doing cool shit is always going to interest me. That "trust me" part was pretty legit too. Damn it all.

@dreiszen: haha this got me - really good point because I caught myself thinking the same thing as in "oh god what idiots for not showing it at E3" but thinking about it - if they show it, they stand the chance to grind current PS4 sales to a halt.
