Specifically the look of the movie. Based on my IED training, they handled the bombs like how I would assume you wouldn't most real-world situations. But I've been told to just shoot at bombs that wouldn't cause civilian casualties. It was just nice to see a war movie that wasn't about a bunch of infantry or cavalry fucking everyone's day up. "

I'm not a fan of Hurt Locker, but I've also never seen it. I'm sure it's entertaining, but I don't like when they tag it with being 'authentic' and it's definitely not. I read enough about it to know they didn't make anything that's authentic to how soldiers really are in combat. I've actually been to Iraq and in real combat situations, so that's where I'm coming from. 
 
It doesn't bother me that they won though because I could give a rats ass about any awards show. I don't like celebrities patting themselves on the back. They make millions of dollars but only a small percentage actually give back to charity.  

Finally a comparison to the two games that barely even touches the multiplayer. Good read, Sweep. I enjoyed that.  It was different then all of the other fanboy bashing of one or the other.

It's not really fair for me to even be in this thread. I was in the Army Infantry so I've shot a ton of guns.

MMO closed beta's are for bugs, open betas are for promotional purposes. I'm sure they are also testing server loads and the likes, but I strongly believe they are solely for the fact of promoting your game for free to try to get people to buy into it. MMO's are an investment, more so then just a regular game.
