@themaxdaddy: Five times I had characters get stuck in a grid position and be completely immovable, preventing mission completion.
Eight times I had characters floating above their grid position randomly.
Xcom has always had buggy animation/transitions etc but it was non-stop constant with Chimera.
The game is built on an engine and core systems from 2016 that was already a re-iteration from those created in 2012 for the original. That was a decade ago almost.
Xcom 2 itself was in way way better shape when it launched and then after multiple patches and incredible add ons became the greatest tactical game of all time it was so insanely fun and polished and perfect.
So no. No the price tag does not at all excuse the bs inherent to Chimera Squad. That game had no reason for being as busted as it was nor having illustration and voice direction done as it was.
Finished this yesterday, incredible game it is. Hope it gets remembered well when we get to goty time, best 2D platformer I've played in a loooong time. Enjoyed it a heck of a lot more than Bloodstained from last year and that game I was fairly fond of as is.
I sunk about 450 hours in to Warframe and ultimately got fed up with their content updates all being very underwhelming. I desperately want them to do more single player story stuff (and what is there is incredible its so damn good) and they gradually got less and less focused on that and rather instead added systems n gimmicks n big open boring areas n just stuff I wasn't interested in.
I kinda wish they'd just do a total massive content dump with cutscenes n story n set pieces and just unique encounters and whatnot. The Warframe grind gets very very tiring.
Man you got a good team of friends to play this with over discord its probably great but any other circumstance this games gonna be a nightmare. Casuals and randos nuh uh.
Still kinda weird how dan missed all these in the process of 100%ing. Like every time I got a new shard the first thing I'd do is test it out, see if I liked it and then consider leveling it. That was the game to me, collect the stuff see what it does. Oh well.
Roadking is just the best. A lot of FT's stuff doesn't do it for me, but he is truly a special toy. Never in my life would I have thought so much trailer could just vanish away on a tf.
Inside is an incredible game and that is an appropriately unsettling bit of merch. Had a feeling when they announced this collab this is exactly what would be in the box.
Man I would have loved to witness the voice recording sessions of this game. "No no make it sound more stilted and unnatural, we're trying to be authentic!"
