If random bullshit conversations are more interesting to me than 75%(I got this from the chat, I havent actually watched this feature, I know myself and skip most GB-east content. SO knowing chat its probably way less worse than theyve made it out to be haha) of the game im playing id conclude i might not be very intrested in the first place but maybe thats weird of me?
I do also think its bullshit when people talk as if you HAVE to play games worse when talking to other people at the same time though. I for example always do way better when theres someone to talk to with me as then I dont have the time to overthink literally everything which i otherwise do. I pay attention to practically everything at the same time when playing games on my own and thats to a huuuge detriment to my skill and how long I take :') To me, having someone disrupt that is a great help. Everyones different.
I love this, looking at gamespot was one of the first things I did when we finally got internet. I would spent HOURS and HOURS (would often sit at the computer till like 4am) reading/watching every single thing I could on the site. My first vivid memory of gamespot is watching that first wii zelda trailer a million times as a shitty postage stamp sized quicktime video with crackling audio <3 I believe back then, besides the video reviews, most of the videocontent with jeff and the crew in it was gamespot gold content so I never watched any of that (being a 14year old with no money and all that). Pretty recently a ton of old gamespot videoreviews got uploaded on youtube and I still remember having seen most of those back in the days.
So yeah long story short, the inside baseball about the old gamespot days is always welcome and im super happy its even got its own show now :)
@vibratingdonkey: The car would be plamo :') Its way easier for a japanese person to say gunpla instead of "gundam plastic model kit" same for the words "plastic model kit" hence plamo. Its just what japanese people say. Gunpura or puramo as a japanese person would pronounce it, sounds like any other japanese word. But I agree it sounds like someone just skips half a sentence in english :')
@ultimaxe:How long do you feel it should take? Usually takes me 6-12 hours depending on if its like a high grade gundam(not like the one ben is building but the modern ones) or something more complicated like a mastergrade or some of kotobukiyas stuff. Thats not including panel lining or whatever though.
@deathmetaldan: Id suspect the skills from dreams do carry over to "real stuff" though. I believe there've been multiple people hired as gamedevs because of them making good little big planet levels without further experience in gamedevelopement (of the top of my head I can only think of the snake pass dude, but I believe there were more) . And little big planet is even way simpler than dreams.

Watching this for the first time now in the year of our lord 2020 and also seeing galgun 1 for the first time too..... and.....did galgun 1 actually look better grafically than galgun 2? or am I misremembering how 2 looks? I remember galgun 2 looking very sparse/empty/sterile(specifically the backgrounds/levels I guess)
