So after I made this list, I started playing Dusk. Turns out it has a pretty rad soundtrack...

@arbitrarywater: Part of me almost wanted to make this entire list a love letter to Into the Breach's soundtrack. I really, really, really like it. A lot.

I look forward to seeing your picks! As someone who hasn't played Octopath, I'm curious what songs stand out to those who have. Because the few songs I've heard off-hand seem really good. I like to know what stands out when actually playing the game though, as context can often make a big difference. (Hence why I only include games I've played.)

Sorry that 2018 has been so rough, and here's to hoping 2019 is good to you! Life can get tough at times, but I sincerely hope there are good moments to cherish in there too.
