I think if you're into JRPGs you'll like it a lot. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. The combat is not the best, but you do get a variety of abilities and party members to suit your play style.
I haven't particularly liked much of what they've created, but did appreciate their last contribution to giant bomb a while back. It seems like they'll be alright financial with all that they're doing.
I actually really like the single player campaigns, so this is a bummer. I thought the WW2 campaign was pretty cool to live through some of the battles I've read about.
The early reviews for this game all look fairly decent. Although, a few reviews are knocking how complex the systems are and how cluttered the UI can be.
I'm hesitantly looking forward to this. I enjoyed the first one, but without having people to play with, I felt like I had a lesser experience. I also felt like it got pretty repetitive after a couple hours and made it a bit of a slog to finish.
I played through the 3 main story lines. I didn't think they're that much different from each other to warrant the time sink. I was really disappointed with playing 9S, but did enjoy the 3rd play through, since it actually finishes the story.
I think the story as a whole is not as remarkable as some people make it out to be.
