If you look to the left as you face the waterwheel in blight town, you'll see a big mound in the distance. Run over there, and you'll find queelag - who is quite tough without help! When you beat her, go down the stairs and hit the wall where there isn't a whole load of eggs/whatever in the circular room. Through there is a woman who will do the same firekeeper estus job.
I'm going on a roadtrip with my best buddy, flying from London to LAX on wednesday. We're renting a car, and planning on driving from LA to Vegas, see the Grand Canyon, then to Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, and back down to LA to fly back. We've got 17 days to fit in that framework. Are there any must-see places aside from the obvious ones? I'd imagine we have similar interests to a lot of the site users, so anywhere that locals think is worth it, would be fun to take a look!
I just downloaded the trial, it's not great.. It's a 3rd person 'action' game with some very very tedious basic mechanics like button mashing with no real purpose whilst you board up windows and try to find musical instruments for some reason.
The menus going in and out of the game are EVER so slightly on a pad, but everything else just feels better on a gamepad. Plus, the looting is supremely faster on a gamepad, you can just press A to loot everything, whereas on a mouse you have to scroll to 'loot all' and press it. Sounds trivial, but makes a big difference to the experience.
Definitely worth the money. Get a group of friends together and it's like a smaller minecraft with more focus on RPG/Action elements than the building (though that's still a big part).
