@brad Your writing excels again, each year I look forward to your list. I haven't played some of the games on it, but I watched RDR2 being played on the site and decided to buy it for my brother this Xmas. It's good to hear that you enjoyed it.
It's difficult to say since I really like Abby's input, but talking over Brad when he's trying to explain what he knows after she professed ignorance on a topic isn't good form IMO.
If this game were based in the UK, after 07:30 the "Fisher-wife" lady's concerns about being taken shopping would be accurate. There's clearly a prototype Morrisons store nearby (a medium size supermarket):
About the review, since we were invited to give our thoughts:
I think this is a good concise format that doesn't try to assume too much knowledge about Spiderman at the outset. I don't pretend to know all of the story, although I know more than the characters and someone got radioactively bit. In my case the story background was sufficiently covered, if a player is into the story/lore then I guess they could gloss over that.
Perhaps the other important thing is that the game mechanics were discussed (i.e. "Arkham-style", but also in more detail), that's worth knowing before it's bought.
The only thing I'd add to the review are some short sentences about whether a game is free to play, has loot boxes/character customisations or whether there's future DLC planned.
@battlecraft: I've always wanted to see Seattle and Canada, both have a similar climate to where I live I think, I don't like hot/overly cold. I'm pretty certain I'll never get the opportunity to go to either of those places though (can't fly), so this was interesting for me. I thought Abby presented a fairly honest view of aspects of what the trip would be like, overall it's not a bad idea to have some new content available on the site when many of us have the day off.
@the_nubster: Since you've seen the ending I wondered if that gave any clues as to what substance that brick is made of? I'm not a chemist and everything I think of won't dissolve that fast, without a reaction such as bubbles, or clouding the water.
