Dualshock 3. Best game controller ever, unless you exclusively play FPSs.  Then I would say it was the 360's, and you are missing out on other game genres. I also loved the feel of the SNES and Sega controllers, but I see them with nostalgia  tinted glasses.  The range of control options makes the Dualshock 3 win hands down. If it had the 360's triggers instead of the bottom shoulder buttons, it would approach perfection.

MK and SSF4 raised the bar so high, this might be a bad idea. I've had my fill of great fighting games, so if it is not stellar, I have no interest. SC4 has not exactly brought my hopes up.

Best: Red Dead Redemption
Worst: Superman 64 is too cliche'(but man, did it suck), so I'll go with Golden Axe Beast Rider, and Final Fight Streetwise. My expectations for the IPs I love from back in the day made the crushing blow of how horrible they were too much for me to handle.

I wonder if it has something to do with Microsoft not wanting their characters to be beaten/brutally killed. The Dead or Alive 4  Master Chief swap does show reluctance to lend out their main characters. Then there is the whole exclusive deal bull crap. Could always just be that.

'ello Patrick, and welcome from this Giant Bomb fan. I'd like to see a news ticker type feed at the bottom of the front page with click-able links to top stories be they text, video, podcast, or whatever you feel the story demands. Not sure how resource heavy that would be, though, would hate to F with the tight code that makes this website load so quick, unlike others (they know who they are). Just thought something like that would draw the "this just in" kind of feel.

@astrodoggy"This game is still the most relevant, deep, and satisfying game world ever created."
I did love GTA4, however Red Dead Redemption fits that description better.  Better characters and story, better ending, better side missions.  I enjoyed hunting animals and capturing wanted men more than the taxi, police, ambulance, ext. missions from GTA4. I will admit, the DLC for GTA4 was far superior than the DLC from Red Dead. This made me want to go play Lost and the Damned, as I've not played it in over a year.  I'm ready for La Noire to blow my mind next, as Rockstar seems to be getting better and better.

@danimal_furry: I am an atheist, and I have complete control over my life. I would not dream of telling someone not to believe in whatever they like. Sometimes I believe in myself when I know I will fail. A knee jerk reaction, if you will. My analytical mind tells me not to believe in god. Who is to say what determines a "wasted life"? I contribute what I can to charities to help people in this life. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. And I play videogames in my spare time. Please don't berate people like myself. I know you believe in my eternal damnation, but telling an atheist they will have  "earned eternal damnation" is just an act of aggression.

My "Take on religion"? I think it is a necessary step in the evolution of the human race produced by man's need for a reason for his/her existence.  Unfortunately, monotheistic religions also spread from fear of death/lack of existence, and that makes the heads of such organizations extremely influential and powerful. Organized religion has been the cause of many deaths due to religious fervor. When such a person's belief  is questioned , their entire life pursuit comes into question, and violence ensues. I personally don't understand the need to be a part of something larger than myself. I find my life quite enjoyable, and the fear of death has not haunted me since age six. I do see the allure, however, and understand the popularity of religion.

@HitmanAgent47: I looked up EDMR, interesting. Let's take a serious issue for an example. Rape. Say you get said person who was an outgoing, trusting person. Regardless of treatment,  do you not think his/her new trust issues and a possible new introvert behavior pattern may make the personality trait profile invalid? And if so, how often would someone need to retake the test used to come up with these findings? Do you think the average patient will come in after one of these events, assuming of course the person would have to be conscious that one had transpired.
