This "personality traits" idea sounds fundamentally flawed. I imagine after a serious life event (child birth, rape, robbed at gunpoint, stricken by poverty, damaging car accident, loss of loved ones, religious rebirth, close personal betrayal, ect.) that could alter someones perception of the world, and one may react quite differently. I have not delved into psychology,  but do you really think the traits would remain constant after such events? My analytic mind feels more at ease with the science that uses control groups.

I also liked Frost. Kenshi as well, however I would prefer new characters. New characters could be made without the need to fit in the restrictions of older hardware limitations. Concessions like  pallet swaps and other design decisions had to be made. So yeah, new ones, Kenshi and Frost.

I love this list. Pushing RDR in front of ME2 was something I would have to agree with. RDR is both the best open world game as well as the best western game ever made. I could see this as a game I will fondly remember as a cornerstone of my gaming collection. It shall sit proudly by the likes of my copies of God of War2, Metal Gear Solid, SOTN,  Super Metriod, and Street Fighter 2 turbo. While ME2 is a great experience, RDR was my favorite game of this console generation. Thanks Brad, for not just taking the popular choice. Well thought out, honest opinion is one of the reasons I come to this site.

I do what I want, when I want. The confines of boundaries, like saying "I never do...", only tend to hold people back. I don't drink much, but if I were to live within a strict set of rules I doled out for myself, I imagine the frequency in which i partake would substantially increase due to self loathing. One of the burdens of having a free mind include choice on a daily basis.  And I shall saddle that burden with great pride.

If Heavenly Sword and Enslaved are anything to go by, I am psyched to see what they will do with this.

This happens to me all the time. Oblivion, Fallout, GTA4 and other open world games. I don't want them to end, and I spend too much time on side quests as a result. What's kind of weird is that, for some reason, this does not apply to the first play through Red Dead for me. I'm on my second play through in less than 1 year (a rarity for me). I have not been so smitten by a game since Street Fighter 2. Maybe it is the pacing of the open world games, as I felt more urgency to finish at the end of Red Dead. It is inevitable that I will find myself roaming around my favorite town, doing side missions and the like, with no progress to the story whatsoever. Just like the other open world games I like.

Oh no, I read the review. This game was high on my list of wants, too. The problems they speak of sound like ones not so easily looked over, even for fans.

I played C&C tiberium and red alert on the 360. Really liking this game. I now see (with the ease of movement a mouse affords) why people say "RTS games don't feel right on consoles". I do think hotkeys may be a problem for me personally as a console gamer. I love the way I can do everything with just a mouse. So, is there any chance I could play at a low level online, or is it really hopeless sans hotkeys?

"The passing away power down" or "The frozen screen of doom".  Both competing for the RROD's spot. I'll still get one, though.
