Boy was I wrong. They've been pretty quick to dismiss bioshock infinite. And looking back, I'm realizing all that extra coverage of the game probably came due to the lack of new content as opposed to general love of the game.
Kind of surprised no Rogue Legacy after how much he talked about it on Twitter and the like. Not complaining as I didn't get the hype of that game, just surprised.
@doomed: Yeah but that was a long time ago. And a much better/revolutionary game in a time where games were being pretty revolutionary. I will admit I haven't played this new zelda yet, so while I love the series, I don't see how all the tiny changes they made really changed that much game play wise.
I feel that Bioshock Infinite wins by default. It's the only game I know all of them played and enjoyed, judging by that spoiler cast. But that was so long ago who knows. I fear that Jeff would never let a zelda game as #1.
Kinda shocked not to see Gta V in here yet. While aesthetically pleasing, I just didn't care about anything happening in that game. I think I'm just overwhelmed in open world games. Especially after playing Saints Row I, I found myself just wanting to run super fast around Los Santos and became disappointed at how long it took to do anything.
Rayman Origins is great on it, if you haven't played it on another system. Also ZombiU is worth $15, which is what it costs used nowadays. And while Nintendo Land is an absolute gimmick, that is another game that you can sometimes find used for $10 and has some decent minigames to play with friends.
And while it's not totally for me, people go crazy for that Monster Hunter stuff.
EDIT: Upon rereading the OP, I'm realizing you asked for future games. My bad,
Thank you for reminding me that this is happening. I check my mail once per month nowadays so if I hadn't seen this, I for sure would have gone through the entire holiday season without what are likely to be my favorite gifts of the year.
