@jehull: I do, but people who have played the game know what I am talking about and there is no point in spoiling it for those who haven`t. That theme of how murder changes you are there either way (though it`s mostly in that arena speech I guess.)
@iwashcroft: It`s so easy to avoid Mr. Shakedown though because he is so slow and easy to spot (especially with the encounter radar) that you will never fight him unless you want to. So there is no need to have the plates as insurance.
I really like the gravity they are giving to murder in this game. I wonder if the rest of the games are like that too?
They definitely do. In Yakuza 4 one of the playable characters is Majimas sworn brother Seajima (who as they mentioned in this episode killed 18 people) and a big theme of his story is about the consequences of killing another human being.
You should get a bunch of healing items (staminan xx or thoughness emperor) from the drugstore before trying to take on Mr Shakedown.
You also have so much money in this game that you should pretty much never buy food instead of medicine. You can fill your inventory with the best healing items and make back the money in a single fight against street thugs.
I think Dan is doing just fine fighting. He does a decent job of mixing up attacks and saving heat is actually more useful than using heat most of the time just because of the speed and damage boost you get.
As to the karaoke thing I am pretty sure it`s the voice actors.
Also since you have now met Sagawa I just wanted to leave this here. The face scan stuff and mocap in these games is so good.
@odinsmana: Apparently it runs significantly worse on Wii U
That`s a bummer. I have been trying to convince myself that it`s worth it to buy a Wii U for Bayonetta 2 for years. I was hoping this would help make it a reasonable purchase.
