@humanity: Ah thanks, I missed that stream. Although tbh solo streams aren’t my thing and Jason ain’t my guy so it’s still a slight bummer. And GB have def put me on to smaller games before (at the start of all this there was that Another World looking game) so it’s not unheard of.

To be clear, I have been enjoying a lot of the premium stuff, everybody is doing a fantastic job. It’s just money is very tight for me after being furloughed and even though I consider GB an essential thing, I have considered unsubscribing until I’m back in work. But every free video being solo makes that an extremely tough call.

Anyway, I know this post is unnecessary and catty, just needed to vent online for a bit. Apologies.

Hyperbolic title and i don’t want to complain too much given how weird everything has been but i’ve been kinda bummed that the only free series with multiple hosts seems to have been put on ice for the past couple weeks.

Where is the Streets of Rage QL, any Chimera Squad content? Or looks at smaller games like Jet Lancer?

Just miss the format is all, hope we can get some more in the weeks ahead.

spoke too soon! app opens fine now and videos play but timestamps do not load – they display at —:— and the seek bar stays at 0. running iPadOS 13.2. could be a quicktime issue? i’m no expert.

I have a bad laptop, no good for movies. Got an iPad and phone, too. Outside of queuing the movie up on the iPad and having the podcast on my phone, then shoving some earbuds under my headphones (uncomfortable!) I’m not sure how to go about listening to a Film & 40s.

So, what do y’all do to play these things? Got any setup tips? Just looking to see if I’m totally blanking on a way to make what is otherwise a bunch of fun less of a chore.

Duct tape two things of too much alcohol to my hands if this has been asked before!

@horsemmeat: any luck sorting it? i’ve started using the gbtv app but it just isn’t the same...

video buddy app has stopped working for me. app fails to open. running iPadOS 13.2. have tried restarting device, have tried deleting and reinstalling app.

if i had to guess i think 13.2 broke it? only change i can think of. anyone else with a similar issue?

def saw it too, “holiday blitz” or something? think the upcoming section wigs out when a bunch of content is queued up, things move around.
