I generally find live show chat to be scattered and disappointing but I do get a few solid laughs out of it. I would fully support a live (or pseudo-live) Bombcast. Especially once the UK turf wars start up via emails.
Can only players around your soul level summon you? I generally wait around fog doors helping others with the boss battles. I have a fairly high SL (~120) but I usually get summoned within a minute (if not much less) for most boss encounters except for the gargoyles. I can sit around for ages and never be summoned.
Sometimes I get a message saying that my summon sign has disappeared. When this happens I can't put it back down for a while. My initial guess was this is because I am being invaded by a grey phantom but it is not really consistent.
High STR, END, and VIT complete with the biggest stick you can find. Currently using an upgraded "club" which has been surprisingly effective. While there are other weapons that do more damage per hit, I can get more hits in with my club. It's a pure melee class which makes some battles "interesting" but I am already too far down this rabbit hole to turn back now.
I think I will be ready to move on to a more magic-based character after I am done with this play through.
@jakob187: Shit, man, I feel for you. I once spent a whole day just sitting at that boss fight helping people through it. In one of the cells that lead up to the fog wall, there should be an NPC summoning sign named Pilgrim Bellclaire. I think the cell is on the right side of the hallway. He's a magic user so all you have to do is kite around the two sentinels on the lower level while he blasts them away. It'll take a little bit but it makes the fight much easier.
I completed it but I think you used a lot of potentially ambiguous terms which might skew your results. Asking people to list games that blatantly copy assests from other games may have vastly different meanings to different people. Some might list games that use the Batman game fighting system or MMOs that copy WoW's formula. I'd interpret it as games that directly lift art or music from others, something that doesn't happen really with larger budget games.
I think it would have also been useful to provide a 5 or 10 point Likert scale for some questions rather than only 3 or 2 choices. When asked about if current games are more or less difficult, I felt none of the answers reflected my own.
Anyway, good luck with it. These are only my thoughts.
Not sure if you found your answer but all the entries in that eBay link were full, preassembled and ready to go PCs. They should come with Windows preinstalled. They just show a picture of the case because that is nicer to look at than the other components.
Like almost everything, it has its ups and downs. Sometimes it's 2 hours of greatness, sometimes it's less. I don't know if playing "fun" games would be any more entertaining. That's the reason TNT got kinda stale. It seemed that every week was just the latest shooter, which is fun for only about 30 minutes. Besides, I think the premise of the show is one where they can just kick back and relax.
Jeff is also pretty good at knowing when something is getting stale. So I imagine that he has a few ideas kicking around that he is just waiting to properly implement.
Watching them play Gang Beasts on the most recent UPF was really great. If you haven't watched that, go and do so now.
