I quit about 2yrs ago and am oh so very glad that I did. I found that you have to change your lifestyle if you're serious about quitting. For example you can't go out drinking like you used to or eat junk food and laze about (if you do) and expect that you wont end up smoking by the end of the night. Instead of smoking I took up exercising and drinking lots and lots of water. You just don't feel like a cigarette after going for a run or walk and drinking a ltr of water. I used to be overweight and couldn't run for 2 minutes without coughing up a lung...now am pretty fit and go running an hour every night.

Wont ever look back :)

Good luck man!!

Anyone know of a good place to watch game matches? Something like Gamespot's 'Tournament TV' would be fantastic if there's anything like that going on anywhere else. I have downloaded a couple of clan matches from games like RTCW and COD that you can sync up to shoutcasts and those are great but haven't found the place where there are heaps of this stuff to download.

Anyone know of a good place to watch or download clan matches that are shoutcast?

Thanks all.

I buy and stick with one game at a time usually because the controls and my mouse sensitivity gets all messed up if I'm playing different games at the same time. I played through and finished Prototype lately then after it hopped on GTA 4 for a bit of a spin around the city and my driving sucked cause I was used to the pace and feel of building hopping in Prototype.

I totally get what you're saying but it's just that old game thing in where all of a sudden it goes from 'do what you like' to "we want you to use this specific method for this mission or we're not going to let you pass." The big blob boss mission for example seems to force you to throw things at it to take down it's health. Up until that point all your other powers are as equally effective but against the blob thing they're utterly ineffective...but throw a car at it and all of a sudden it takes a massive health drop. Same for the tank mission...if you jump down into the thick of it you get punished mercilessly and your powers seem to be less effective all of a sudden...the game wants you to lure the super soldiers away, disguise yourself and jack the tank so that it appears Alex is using the military tactics against them. It's a weak story element but it's just forcing you in those moments to employ a certain method. If you work out what that method is the later missions are just as easy as the early ones. The last boss was easy if you play the way they want you to...if not it's almost impassable and extremely frustrating. The cut scenes do hint at this saying that the military is 'adapting' to your methods. Again it's a weak attempt at trying to bring the story more into the game play.

I wasn't too pissed that they did this cause it was only the two missions I felt they were forcing you to play a certain way. All the other missions you could do as you like and each method was as equally effective. I loved that you could jump in and have that full on action packed 'kill em all' game play or you could disguise your self and walk in and out like you were having a Sunday stroll. All in all I really enjoyed the game.

Yeah this scene (and what happens directly after this moment) is what part 3 is all about and why it's worth the watch. An aging Michael Corleone confronting the sins of the past. He's lost all hope for any salvation of his own soul and only seeks desperately to free his family from the horrors of his past and the world he has built. The 'weight' of the film comes from his eventual understanding that in order to free his family he has to go all the way and free himself. To find a way to forgive himself and Al Pacino nails that depth and conflict. It's just such a shame that all the peripheral goings on in the movie seem...almost pointless. But then again it's there to demonstrate what his legacy ends up being, the face of the world he created.
