I have found the GBA Repro's in particular are not good. My Copy of Megaman Battle Network 3 turned out to be a repro that I had not noticed when I got it and it is all kinds of messed up when saving.
Also I got a repro of Mother 3 with the english translation and it essentially does not save the game at all. Replacing the watch battery helped for a week but then that battery died. A ton of these are just made super poorly and there is no way to weed out the good from the bad.
Just get a flash cart. If you're going to dive into the wild world of illegitimate software you may as well take a deep dive.
I remember that one Canadian dude who worked for EGM got SOOOOOOO much hate for not giving Chrono Cross a 10.
Nowadays I am not sure I can be convinced that this game is any better than one the the Saga series games. I was so damn excited for this game, and the only things I remember about it are all the things it did to annoy the hell out of me. It's a damn shame.
This news saddens me. I haven't been able to keep up with giantbomb much since this whole shitstorm of world affairs started but I know for a fact that all of them will be missed on the site.

Thank you all for being the people you are. You guys were there for me weather you knew it or not for some of the hardest times of my life. At points when I wasn't sure I could even go on anymore, you all were still able to put a smile on my face. on the plus side they have some good free virtual console games up for coins this month. I already have super metroid but I suppose a copy of Mario Bros 2 USA isn't bad at all.
