There's got to be a better way of doing Best Music. 30-second clips of songs is not enough to appreciate a soundtrack, especially when everyone talks over the songs, anyways.
On a related note, Shadowbringers and Fire Emblem got robbed. :'(
For some of the trickier attacks that he's having trouble with, I recommend using the mist feather or the umbrella.
Also, I love this boss fight so much. I spent like 2-3 hours on it before I finally killed him. On my next playthrough, I literally beat him my first try. Once you beat this boss, you really feel like a god at the game.
Also also, I really wish this game had a boss rush mode. I want to fight this guy again, but I don't want to spend 3-7 hours getting to him.
@zoofame: I was actually thinking about the recent lack of premium content yesterday. They did a big premium sale for Thanksgiving and follow it up with... almost no premium content. There’s been 3 premium shows in the past 2 weeks. And very little normal content as well.
I feel so out of touch with the technology sphere. At the start they're talking about Chromecasts, Rokus, and Apple TVs, and I have no idea what any of those are.
Do they mention how the game performs on a base PS4? If it runs poorly on a PS4 Pro, I'm kind of nervous how it'll run on a base PS4. I hope it's not another Control situation where I don't even buy the game because it runs so poorly.
@stormraider: At launch, Overwatch was $60 for 2/3 platforms (PS4 and Xbox). PC was the only platform that had a version of the game for $40. Calling Overwatch a $40 game is a bit misleading IMO.
@fontelroy: You don't actually knee the ring. There should be a couple inches between the top of your knees and the bottom of the ring. But that is a valid concern. I have no idea how long these rings are supposed to last. But I will say I've only had the game for a week and I like it much better than the Wii U fitness game.
I'm really surprised the gameplay in this looks so unfun when MGS5 had absolutely amazing gameplay. MGS5 is a contender for best stealth action gameplay of all time, whereas I don't think I'd find a lick of enjoyment in playing this.
I was almost entirely sold sight unseen on this game just because of how fun MGS5 was... but I think maybe I'll pass.
Feel like Ben is being a little dismissive of OW2. People have been clamoring for more PvE content for years, and Jeff's right that people really love the characters. I don't really care about the story at all, but the missions look like a fun change of pace from the regular PvP stuff. I've got over 1000 hours in the game across different versions and any new content is okay by me.
Yeah the PvE in OW2 is going to be super popular if Blizzard don't drop the ball. Like you said, people have been wanting more PvE and story in the game since literally release day. The announcement of OW2 seems like giving people exactly what they're asking for. I could easily see the OW2 PvE stuff becoming more popular than the PvP over time. I believe Blizzard has come out and said that the co-op PvE stuff in SC2 is more popular than the traditional PvP mode.
The gameplay videos of the PvE map available at Blizzcon looked like a lot of fun. Though I am curious how they'll flesh it out, because it seemed pretty barebones.
