Oof, can't help but feel the crew got tricked into thinking Galak-Z had style (vs. flash). Shocked that there wasn't any protest on picking that over Splatoon. Heck personally I'd even put Bloodborne above it.

Guessing that maybe at the time this was done, Vinny hadn't yet landed on the Mun? I hope Vinny keeps getting further and further in KSP; he's barely scratched the surface so far and there are tons of cool moments to be had.

e.g. docking two vehicles in space; successfully rescuing a stranded Kerman; successfully managing a gravity-assist to escape Kerbal-Mun system

Huh. Was a bit surprised to not see any mention of XenoCross on here; guess I misread your enjoyment of that game (or maybe things changed since the QL?)

Have you played Steamworld Heist yet? It's been pretty tough to put down over the past couple of days. It's perhaps less layered than Invisible Inc. but scratches a similar itch (for me, the loot & ricochet aiming aspects are particularly enjoyable).

Really well written as always, Austin!

For a review it's not a bad idea to consider the pricing of a game, because your review is (among other things) supposed to help people making a purchase decision.

For a Top10 list the price shouldn't matter, just tell us what 10 games from this you liked the most!

You can't tell me that you had more fun with Pac-Man 256 and also would like to keep the memory of playing that game MORE than playing The Witcher 3, Dan! You can't! (and that is coming from someone who didn't like The Witcher 1 or 2 - played both for about 3 hours - and didn't try Witcher 3 so far)

I'm pretty sure Dan put more time in with Pac-Man 256 (there was a period where he'd pretty much talk about it constantly) than he did with Witcher 3. So yeah, I can believe that he personally had more fun with it. It just means that Witcher 3 isn't his type of game (not even remotely a surprise...)

but srsly, glad that he's doing this because he wants to and hope it all works out awesomely. Personally I'm looking forward to something completely new (theme-wise and gameplay-wise).

I mean, this game isn't good, but holy hell, Dan, it's not that complicated. You go to the menu and highlight the artifact you want to return! You can't return the fog horn to Coit Tower, because that's not where it goes!

This reminded me of the old GameInformer video of Dan playing dota...he just does not change tack when something isn't working (also he repeatedly read what the NPC said when he returns the wrong thing but I don't think he was really understanding what it was trying to say). Not defending this game's design or anything (it's kind of unclear that you can even pick among the artifacts) but at least he could just try returning whichever one was selected to the right place.

Thanks for a great QL @austin_walker (I mean, how could it not be if Vinny is doing voices)!

I was wondering if you've played the Wii Xenoblade? Obviously they're only tenuously related but if you haven't played it, I can heartily recommend giving that a shot too. No customizable mechs but definitely some cool areas to explore.
