Just watching this, with its profoundly awful camera, made me as close to nauseated as I've been from a game since I played Kileak: The DNA Imperative, which actually made me motion sick. Oof.

When Dan was telling the bunny/dog story, he was almost doing a Norm McDonald impersonation. The intonation was nearly identical. He may have watched a bit too much of that guy's stand-up.

The church-looking building that @danryckert was so fond of urinating on is the Douglas County Courthouse. Good choice(s), Dan! Shame they didn't find the Outhouse.

I was surprised in how nice the people in New York were when I went to vacation there three years ago. Glad to hear that I was not the only one surprised or that even Alex will admit the city is not that bad.

Agreed, everyone I met/was near was super cool, with the exception of the raving racist guy on the Staten Island Ferry who started a fight with an African-American couple the second he got off the boat.

The Dudley Moore "honest advertising genius" movie in question was 1990's Crazy People which was partially filmed here in Roanoke, VA (my uncle worked construction on it).

I sifted through all of the comments to see if anyone else remembered this (and somehow missed it in the first ten or so the first time through). Crazy People is great.

@artisanbreads: That's super shitty. If sufficient shelter space was available throughout the city for the homeless, and they didn't use it, maybe there'd be a valid argument in there, but simply saying that someone shouldn't sleep on the street because that's not constitutionally protected doesn't really hold up. I do not live in NY, and only really know the post-9/11, media-hungry Giuliani, but he really seems like he sucks, as a person at the very least.
