I suck at RTS so I dropped Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings after an hour or so even though I would have wanted to see where it is going. It's also the reason why I quit Dota 2 after putting at least 3000 hours into it. I only ever ranked 3rd out of the 8th in their MMR system with less than 50% win rate by the time I quit. Wish I could take back all those hours, frankly.

Not exactly had to stop playing but I sometimes refrain from playing GREAT games in place of GOOD games, mainly because I hate the thought of running out of great games to play so I stall and play the GOOD games instead to avoid spoiling myself too much. It's as if playing a better game will diminish my appreciation of a good game especially if it's the same genre.

I have nothing but gratitude for the years of entertainment Vinny, Alex, and Brad have given me and adding a lot of value in my life. They are part of the constant comfort I have and has always looked forward to their opinions on stuff. I will miss the goofy banter and the trenchant insights they brought to the table every week. It's sad to see them go. It's like an old friend moving out of the country in that I am wistful to see them go but I completely understand that they need to do what they need to do. Wishing them all the best in their future endeavors.

Also wishing Jeff and the rest of the crew the emotional and mental strength to carry on and steer this ship where it needs to go. It will most certainly be interesting to see what comes next.

No One Lives Forever 2 is a massive downgrade over its predecessor. I do not know why a lot of people never seem to hold the same opinion.

Space Rangers 2 always sticks out to my mind as a brilliant game. It's a mix of different genres blended together to produce something truly unique. It's the game most appropriate to be characterized as better than the sum of its parts.

I also think about Megaman Legends 2 because of how I enjoyed it as a child. I have played no other game like it ever since.

Alundra is also a game that I think about often because I truly believe it's a better game than A Link to the Past.

inFamous Second Son, starting off 2021 with a light and breezy open-world romp just after I finished Bloodborne. I like the contrast and I'm so happy I ended that game before midnight finishing off 2020 strong!

Geoff Keighley has been updating the world on Twitter on the presenters for this year's The Game Awards and while there are luminaries from the gaming industry present like Reggie Fils-Aime, there are also some choices which are odd (even though I respect them in their own respective crafts) e.g. Stephen A Smith, Christopher Nolan, and Gal Gadot to name a few. It's closest thing the game industry has to an Academy Award but it seems kinda weird to me that these presenters are barely associated with video games, if at all. It's an interesting way of producing the show for sure and I dig the non-insular approach. Inviting these celebrities would maybe lend legitimacy to the awards which the game industry seems to have been clamoring for for so long but I do not know of any instance where celebrities from the Oscars or the Grammy, or any awards shows for that matter intermingled with one another (apart from performances and actors who are also successful musical artists). Sorry for rambling on and on. My point being, it should only be fair that someday, Hideo Kojima or (cue in the laugh track) David Cage, or Jonathan Blow, or any other reputable gaming personality be invited in the more established awards show as a host or some sort of presenter.

Eh, in the end what does it matter, right? It's an awards show, who gives a damn? Still, I want to know your thoughts on this trivial matter. Should Geoff Keighley invite more non-gaming personalities or should he endeavor to include more gaming personalities in place of these celebrities or is he doing an excellent job mixing in both gaming and non-gaming personalities?

I said no but only because Brad and I have the same opinion that is Arkham Asylum is the best in the series and it would be a shame if you skipped it.

Abby, you inspired me to take an improv class. I only attended once as it's not my cup of tea but I will always remember trying something new because of you. Your presence and brand of comedy will be sorely missed. Thank you for the laughs and the quality content.

Best wishes to all your future endeavors. Hey-oh!
