" It saves each time you finish the game. So if you use one character to play through twice, you'll have two slots to import. That's how it worked with ME1 imports. It will not overwrite your first playthrough. Also, in ME1 I played one character all the way through. Then I played that same character a bit to max out the levels, but never actually finished the game on the second playthrough. When I imported into ME2, it only allowed me to import the first playthrough, the only one I actually finished. "
Simple question that I couldn't find an answer too...
I'm thinking of doing a playthrough of Mass Effect 2 on insanity, however I'm also aware that I may lose interest half way and leave it unfinished.
My question is: if I start the game using my finished Mass Effect 2 save - will it be deleted or does it remain? Basically I want to know I can still import it into ME3, even if don't finish the insanity run.
Basically there have been a couple of instances while playing this game that seemed a little odd/out of place, which made me think maybe they were left over from cut portions of the game (hooray for jumping to conclusions!). Obviously I could be completely off base with these but just thought I'd put them out there to see if maybe I've missed something completely (like the whole pushing the barrels of napalm over).
At the end of The Defector you're defending the LZ while awaiting evac; Woods tells me every time to go and set charges around the perimeter - is this even possible? Are you meant to pick up like remote charges or something? I ran all around the place but couldn't see any glowing yellow bits jumping out at me either.
The other (totally unrelated) thing that made me wonder was the ending to Executive Order. The mission ends with you just running down a long corridor, then Mason narrates how he couldn't find Dragovich in the building but picked him up while he was escaping in a car, which they take down, but they never ID his body. What struck me as a bit odd to me was that they showed these cool still action shots - a style which I don't remember occurring at any other point in the game. This just made me think that perhaps originally you played out that chase sequence and maybe those still shots were remnants from the WIP in game cutscenes.
If you are on the 360, you can also create a Windows Live/Xbox Live US account which will allow you to purchase from the US marketplace. Grab some points from an online store and your good to go!
This works a treat for me, letting me buy Rock Band Network songs even though the store will most likely never open here (boo).
" What is your favourite box-art for the year? Mine is Alan Wake, I really loved that game and seeing the cover always makes me smile and remember back to playing it. It's very simple but very striking. ARGH so cool! :D
I love the collector's edition cover (I'm unsure why it's not the same for the regular edition as well? - check out the reflection of the trees)
