I wonder if they do extensive testing on the multiplayer achievements? Especially with something as specific as taking first place in the last 10 seconds. I wonder if they found that after tracking the QA games they found that x % of people actually had it happen to them.

" @XII_Sniper: There was a really good thread at the beginning of the year that pretty much outlined what you needed to do to have a perfect ending. Surprisingly, there are close to a half-dozen ways to do it, or something. It's nuts.  "

Yeah that thread was a bit of a godsend for that game's last hour. Specially since it was spoiler-free.   See I had everything perfect in terms of loyalties, ship upgrades and picking the right leaders. Except for jack. I might have chosen her for escorting the survivors or something similar. Can't remember. One damn bad decision away from a perfect game. But I mean really... I didn't like Jack, so it was perfect enough for me. "
Wait - does picking Miranda over Jack cause Jack to lose her loyalty? I thought as long as you do the loyalty mission for the character, they are loyal.

Finally got the cash to buy this game and now it's a throwup between either PS3 or 360.

I have a gold sub on 360, so I can play online on both however I don't have a friendslist on either, so that isn't a concern. I'm in New Zealand also, so if any NZ Bombers with Brotherhood (or not) wanting to friend up feel free to add me (Scapegoat NZ on 360, ScapegoatNZ on PSN).

Basically I was wondering what the day one exclusive PS3 DLC actually contains. I know that it adds more side missions, but are these simply MORE versions of missions already present in the game, or brand new mission types that are not in the game? Are they wrapped up in any kind of story with voice work?

All you have to do (though it sucks it doesn't let you choose) is press start, go drop out, and then join again by pressing start and you can pick between keys or guitar/bass, then just restart the song!

"
That kinda sorta makes some sense. Why would you want punishment though? If you see the bar get to the bottom, you know you've failed. What's the point of taking a few extra seconds to get back into the song just to have your score not count? Madness!  And why does the Solo percentage indicator go away? That's super annoying.   And if the game's allowing no-fail mode scores to be posted to the leaderboards, isn't that kinda messed up? It should be a level playing field.  I dunno if I like this. It still feels like there's something I'm missing. "
Umm - I would say it's just Harmonix trying to please everyone in their community. I personally would prefer the game to never kick you out of a song (I like how it was handled in Lego RB), however many people like this amount of punishment for failing (and fair enough if they do). People have said they enjoy knowing that if they suck they will be booed off, and thus have to go and practice the song.

I don't think there will be any problems with the leaderboards just because even with no fail on, if your doing poor enough to fail at any point in the song your not going to be ranking at it during that run at all.

It enables the use of a second pedal plugged into the extra port on the RB2, Beatles RB and RB3 drums.

Without the hi-hat pedal on it defaults to a second bass pedal (though double bass pedals is not charted).

The hi-hat only applies to the freestyle drum fill sections (which you can turn off).

Felt exactly the same eh. I played the Ship when it was the free mod and thought it was a really cool idea/art style but the execution was a little off. Then was so surprised at how expensive it was when they came out with the paid version - now this!

It doesn't seem like they've improved the base gameplay from the Ship however...

Wow these types of issues sound like playing San Andreas back on the PS2??? I seriously never had ANY such issues with my hours spend in Red Dead.

Could it be that since you are playing with the game installed you have loading problems as it must load both parts of the base game off and the addon both from the HDD? You could try deleting the install and playing off the disc and see if it helps.
