I think a paper about player agency would be pretty interesting. How much of what we do in a game could really be considered a choice? Is there a difference in thinking when you follow the instructions the game gives you versus doing the same thing of your own volition given the opportunity? If you do a bunch of things in a sandbox game that aren't part of the mission or achievement structure, have you actually done or accomplished anything?

God, where to begin. I lived there for four years and I loved every second of it. Where in Japan are you? Yokosuka?

If you're getting turned back at the MEPS, I'm sorry to say that there might not be much you can do at the moment. The Army is in the middle of a huge drawdown; even reenlistments are restricted right now. If what you're saying about your ASVAB score is true, then you should be competitive in the other services. Unlike the Army, the other branches never pumped up their ranks, so they might need people a little bit more right now.

If your heart is set on being Army Infantry, have them show you the medical evaluation forms, and have your recruiter show you the regulation where you can be refused enlistment due to your condition (there may be one). If they can't or won't produce one, talk to the station commander. If you still can't get traction, write your congressman.

I will agree with some of the others who say that you might want to look at some of the other MOSes, if only for the fact that you can get a more diverse skill set for later on in life. Unless you want to be a cop later on. That's what happens to a lot of Infantrymen after they get out.

Ys Origins, Ys Oath in Felghana, The Walking Dead, Trine 2, Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, HOARD, Frozen Synapse, Cave Story +, Binding of Issac DLC, Batman Arkham City DLC; that's what I've got SO FAR. I also found Shoot Many Robots in my Library, which I'm pretty sure I never bought.

I really suck at talking about things like this, but I want to convey my sorrow at your loss, and my hopes that you will make it through this time.

Off the top of my head, Borderlands, Mass Effect, and Puzzle Quest 1 & 2. There's probably a couple more.

The one I can remember is Grotesque Tactics. I thought it would be like Final Fantasy Tactics with humor. It was neither like FFT nor humorous.
