Thanks man! Hmmm, part of me thinks they'll do a console release eventually anyway - I mean they have to right? From your (or anyone's) hands-on time, does it feel like it would be a struggle getting it to run on PS4/Xbox One?

Hey guys!

Sorry to ask such a basic question, but even after looking over the maximum and minimum specs on 2K's site, I have NO idea if my graphics cards or whatever are better or worse than what's listed. I'm a console gamer through and through, and I can't find an easy ranked breakdown of what I need, so I'm calling upon you for help please!

So I have a Macbook Pro Retina mid-2012 running the newest OS X Yosemite, and the specs taken from the 'About this Mac' box are as follows:

Processor: 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB

Any help on if my Mac can even run XCOM 2 at all would be great, and if possible an idea of how... 'pleasant' it would be i.e. frame rate being the main put-off if it's all over the place. I doubt graphic sliders will be able to be turned up much, but as a total noob with this stuff, I'd appreciate any help I can get!

Cheers!

Cheers guys!! So turned it back on and all the content was there again! I've done the refresh and cache-wipes anyway just for kicks, and will do the 30 second reset thing if need be. What a weird bug/glitchy thing for a console OS to have.

For all they changed around, I still don't think Microsoft have nailed anything close to the accessibility of the blade system yet. Double-tapping for the Snap menu just hangs that LITTLE bit too much for me, it's like a 2 second pause when it should be instant!

It's proving to be way harder to Google than I thought. So, just booted up the machine and it's not pulling any of the content into either the Community tab or the various Stores (had the XO for months, first time it's done this).

If I go into like "Browse Games" it'll start showing in that next layer, but the main dash you see when you turn it on, is still totally blank - like the empty grey kinda look.

Any help would be awesome please duders, I'm gonna ring Microsoft's support if it's not something super obvious I'm missing!

Yip yip okay... it's the golden bull icon thing! Damn logo doesn't give you the flavour text until you start zooming in, so I thought it was another optional icon like the rest!

I know the appeal is "Hey, go blow shit up!", but after returning the scooter to Mario's garage, I had to pull up a Youtube clip to realise there was a town mentioned I was supposed to head towards.

Now that I've done that, some American tycoon-type dude started talking, Mario's all like "I'll meet you outside town" and now I'm back in the world with no waypoint again.

Which town is he referring to? Is this a thing that's prevalent throughout the rest of the game? I noticed the American dude mentioned a place called 'Costa Del' something, but that doesn't seem to be on my map.

I can't believe Just Cause 3 is stumping me, but... it is!!

So, I used to be good at Halo. Halo 2 and 3, Reach - even 4, I'd take to the online and just RUIN dudes.

Halo 5 though? I'm getting creamed, like almost every match I just can't seem to connect melee attacks like I used to, and every time there's any remote one-on-one showdown, I die. Every time.

It's kinda devolved into 'Hold Right Trigger And Aim For Your Head: The Game' right now, and that's bumming me the hell out. My own two cents would be to make sure you're constantly in the air, but MAN if you're not locked onto a dude's head and making sure every bullet hits, it feels like you might as well just give up. Oh and also, f**k the extended respawn time - god dammit, just get me back in the game. 6 seconds is a lifetime when you're 'in the zone' or whatever you wanna call it.

Any help/advice from you guys is most welcome, not only for me but anyone else who's inevitably struggling from time to time!

I'm with ya man, I sorely miss Big Team Battle - it's always been my go-to for what Halo's online 'is', and I'm looking forward to them patching it back in.

The card thing just feels strange, mainly because of the real world cash tie-in. Like I get the respawn screen, pick a card, get shot and it's wasted for good. Couple that with Battlefield-levels of "run all the way from spawn to your objective", only to get shot again, and I find myself running around aimlessly than getting stuck into anything meaningful.

I've been playing Arena Slayer and Free-for-All more because it scratches the Halo itch more directly, but yeah Warzone is a cool new addition in theory, but in practice having so much of the experience reliant on card packs feels... off. To me anyway!

I thought the crux of the story was something about Chief being a wanted man and Locke having a grudge against him? There's a bit a couple missions in where Locke says to Buck that he's "not the only one here for a reason" (or something), implying there's a personal vendetta?

Also I remember the marketing materials for this being like 'The Chief killed innocents, he must be brought down', but Locke's only really chasing him because he insisted on going to that planet with Cortana on?

I'm a bit lost tbh haha, any help on what the story was supposed to be about (other than Cortana going crazy) would be most appreciated!!

Oh and also, when you fight the Warden, did anyone else do a behind-the-back knife animation kill? I did on the first bout, but then every time after I couldn't seem to trigger it!

Okay so here's another one now I'm on my way with the DLC. The game does that 'blur outwards/load' thing literally every 12 seconds. Doesn't matter if you're in a cutscene or playing, right now I'm sitting talking a character and waiting on a dialogue prompt, but every 12 seconds it loads for about half a second with the audio continuing underneath.

Other people having this issue at all? And is it related to being in the sewer area? Any help would be awesome please! :D
