I thought it was okay. I was kind of confused with the outstanding reviews it was getting at release. It is a super polished game for sure, but it is filled with so much boring filler I just could not be bothered playing much after the story finished.
I heard an analogy I can't help but agree with. Basically that the moons in Odyssey are like the Korok seeds in BotW. Except in BotW it is a very minor collectible/currency thing and in Odyssey it is literally the entire game.
I definitely miss the old GOTY videos. We get live unscripted stuff literally every week, it was cool to have something different. I have a feeling they didn't have time even if they wanted to, to plan, write, film, and edit that stuff. It is much easier to just play some games in the studio
I invested quite a bit at the beginning of the year and have since made 20x or something and sold about half of it. I am extremely happy with what I have made, but just remember your gains are unrealized until you sell. Don't be afraid to cash out, the market is extremely volatile and I suspect the real crash is not too far into the future.
Thinking about this movie over a week later, so I will give it that. But everything this movie is, still completely boggles my mind.
How did Johnson come to the conclusion that a cheap gag was the appropriate follow up to this scene? Smdh

I have also been thinking a lot about the prequels since seeing this movie. Those movies had major problems, but one thing they did nail that this film utterly failed at was the sense of scale. They felt epic. You could feel the size of the galactic war. This movie feels so small, so insignificant.
