Yes, it was from an older Bombcast and not an actual thing he did. It was an ongoing bit that he kept throwing out during the podcast. It was hilarious.
I need help. What episode of the Bombcast does Jeff talk about pouring oil down the sewer grate at the end of his driveway? I believe several other items are also mentioned being disposed of using the sewer... Classis Gerstmann shenanigans.
How do you unlock new items that you can take into a mission? Occasionally, after a mission it will show that I unlocked new items for future missions, but I'm not sure what triggers the unlock. I ask specifically because I need the remote explosives to complete a handful of challenges.
Bold prediction (keeping things off-topic) - Rey will not fall for Finn. Attachment led to Anakin's downfall. I don't see how any Jedi in the new trilogy can follow that same path (I know that contradicts the whole Rey is Luke's daughter theory). I also think that is also part of the reason why Leia is not a Jedi...
To expand a little more on my previous thought, the focal point of Star Wars is the Skywalker family. It is the consistent through-line in all six movies. I think that it would be a mistake to deviate from that formula and introduce another "super family" for the sake of mixing things up. Every other new character checks that box, with the exception of Ben Solo (e.g., Po and Finn). I guess I'm also clinging to anything that will justify her quick acclimation to the force and ability to hold her own against Kylo... Finally, I think it would be really weird if Anakin/Luke's lightsaber was calling to a complete "stranger."
As an aside, how the heck did they find that lightsaber on Bespin...
Just want to point out that Obi-Wan cannot be the father. The Force Awakens takes place 30 years after Return of the Jedi and Rey is less than 30 years old.
How closely the plot mirrored a New Hope. They can't keep upping every thing (this film did not need a superweapon 100 times the size of the Death Star, or a superweapon at all)
How proficient both Rey/Finn were with a lightsaber against Ren
All the unanswered questions regarding the formation of the First Order and why the "Resistance" is such a small group (shouldn't the Republic have some sort of military force)
It was missing some of Lucas' small touches that make Star Wars what it is... While a very good film, it feels like a step-child to the other films given the fact that Lucas was not involved
One observation that is neither good or bad. It is almost as if they had a checklist of everything they needed to be overly politically correct. I wish that wasn't a driving force behind everything in today's culture.
