On this weeks giant beastcast, the crew had a fun moment reading the description to a nintendo downloadable. It was funny, but something felt like it was missing... a certain nintendo e-shop theme to be exact. So I fixed it, enjoy!
I have no idea what episode it was but it was when they were going over the plot of Tekken. "And then HE throws HIS SON INTO THE VOLCANO" Vinny and Jeff were cracking me up.
There is also that time when Jeff was forcing everyone to sit through nintendo store games descriptions
Just bought the game too. I noticed that the windows firewall popped up asking for permissions for the game. Did you happen to miss that prompt or select No?
See, I get the feeling that hellogames is going to work continually hard on this game to improve and add to it. If the day zero patch notes are an example of what they are capable of doing in near future, then perhaps the game will become extremely enhanced and improved. A game that is more dense and closer to what was promised or (unfairly) expected.
The game is barely out, I have barely followed it, so it is hard to say with authority how deep/good this game truly is, all I have is my gut feeling. My gut also says that no mans sky a year (or even 6 months) from now will be a much improved and denser experience. So the player who starts later will get an experience that is objectively better than people jumping in today.
What I want to know is what you guys think of this gut feeling. Am I wrong? Is this game going to be fun only while its in the zeitgeist? Where late comers are deprived of the discovery and mystery because the optimal play style has been cracked open?
Or does none of the above matter because this game is not an mmo and is effectively random since no one starts in the same place?
