You might need to add a cookie exception (Settings --> Privacy & Security --> "Cookies and Site Data" header --> Manage Exceptions

@dudeglove: oh my gawd, just do it. Any cheapo 1080p monitor will do since you won't ever be gaming on it. Being able to watch GB and play games at the same time... game changer (no pun intended).

This is exactly what I do! It's especially nice in games where dialog isn't really too important (lookin at you, Just Cause) or when NPCs or other players are few and far between (e.g. Fallout).

I've kind of run into the same issue. Major first-world problem, but a problem nevertheless. In the latest instance of my irresponsibility, I now have Fallout 4 to work on (I'm about 7 hours in), and I've just started Just Cause 3 (and I'm already 8 hours into that one).

For what it's worth, I thought Mad Max and Dying Light were both pretty one note. So is JC3, I suppose, but less so, I think. Maybe that'll help you triage a bit?
