Im sure the 8800 will do you just fine. Spend your money elsewhere?
Or a sub £100 card like the Radeon HD 4870 has some very, very nice specs.

RROD is old news - new consoles dont break like the launch ones did. Sadly some consoles still break down, just as often as the wii and PS3 now though.
I always found this to be a problem with the ps3, dispite using bluray it still had to do mandatory installs, meaning the ps3 might as well use dvd and actually might be winning this generation instead of being last place. Look at the ps2, it used dvd and it won ^^
